NO. This only makes sense when a SENIOR talks to a JUNIOR, as the job is dependent on the senior. JUNIOR cant talk about its "feelings", or its "problems", as the SENIOR can use it as BLACKMAIL material.
Top to bottom approach is fine but there is some drawback in it in some cases. When we straightaway place our perspective/opinion, the person who is hearing may also immediately show his/her disagreement before we substantiate with our points right? When we give them the reasons and then if we place our perspective, there is a space for the person to listen and get to know the reason which may end up not disagreeing quickly.
