Too much timing, and engine sounds tired. Slow to rev. I would do a compression test, and check timing chain for play. Nice detail, on the body. Looks like cut and buff.
I remember how the early versions were fitted with carburetors, which gave them a distinctly different vibe than those that came later, with mechanical, then electronic injectors.
Sucks these have more than doubled in price. I was seeing them for $35K-40K not too long ago. Made me excited to see a V12 Ferarri for less than my car. Lol. Made me think of getting one.
The early Vipers remind me of another wild and crazy hand built niche car in a way, the English TVR Cerbera - a car I’ve thought would be cool to import. But short of that, a Viper is on my list.
