Ropes can be used to arrest your fall, in conjunction with trees or another climber. Looked like fun. Looking forward to rafting and climbing in Central Java next week.
Now we're not allowed to go up to the Pulisan savannah anymore; they say it's private land. Last December, when I brought guests from Singapore there, we met some people who prohibited us from entering. Even though I've often brought guests there for the past 3 years..
Aahh yess when we went there last time the owners were there I think! Sad because it’s such gorgeous view🥹 but i’m sure there are tons of beautiful savannas and viewpoints like this one around 😆
Hi! I am travelling in Sulawesi in a month. What is transportation like on Sulawesi? Is there reliable public transportation expect for flights? Are there sleeper busses? How is accomodation? I'd appreciate any tips as I don't know anybody who's backpacked there yet
Hi Gwynne & Patrick, Looks like a wonderfull place! I'm heading there with my girlfriend. We are in Sulawesi. Do you by any chance know if it's possible to go from these islands to the Philippines by boat? We are looking to connect from Manado to Mindanao by boat but there is so little information on this. Hope to hear from you. Cheers, Robbe & Kay
Hi! I remembered talking to someone from a guesthouse about this and they said it’s not available anymore for indonesians?? But I don’t know if this is the right information and it might change 😅
Enjoyed your videos about Sangihe island. My father was from there. ( never met him , he died few months before I was born). I was born in Jakarta but left for Holland when I was 6 years old. I have been living in San Francisco Bay Area for over 50 years. Thanks for showing this island. Much success to you both.❤❤❤
I hiked the Gunung Tampusu 3 years ago. I expected a serene and calm campground but it turned out to be disappointing. Some campers didn’t even consider that majority of people came to Tampusu in order to seek a calm and peaceful environment.
