He said he actually did in an interview with GalaxyCon. He said he had a spit bucket but he had swallowed lots of it regardless, and that the jalapenos, hot sauce, and peppers on the sandwich were real. He said the jalapenos were on the milder side but really hurt his stomach, and he also was told to drink the entire glass of water, and was keeled over in pain for a half hour after. They ended up cutting the clip of him drinking the entire glass, so he starts and finishes it, and drinking that much wasn't necessary from the start that way, which he found moderately frustrating. He deserves major recognition for that LMAO
my blood pressure medication renders my tastebuds nonexistent. my friend said, is that why you eat limes like they are going out of style, the strong taste breaks through to you, and yes i use plenty hot sauce, in fact i use 3 different peppers on everything
"jeg er ked af at savne (savne, okay) festivalen" (something volapyk) "jeg håber snart at besøge" - endlessly fascinated by scenes like this. like. why? :D
I legit wonder if that was real pepper and Tabasco back there. If it was, then hats off to Michael Cerveris for being able to tuck into that without gagging and spitting it back out for this scene.
Those waitresses were so rude to September. We get it, he is weird and unusal in the context of the series, but they easily could have viewed him as a person with special needs and mind their own business. He was not harming anybody, he was eating a sandwich and drinking water with a particular set of taste and thats it... He even left a huge tip that was clearly undeserved...
