That’s over kill with the spraying, go to Auto zone buy the right stuff there like $10 yes it tell you to have the on low fan speed and yes you spray it from the outside side vents because that’s where the smell came from originally. If you have a look he had the setting on for out side air so why you have that setting on if your not starting from outside
Hilariously, I have an SRT that has carbon fiber trim from the factory, and I'm thinking about buying the base model trim, and doing this to it because the carbon fiber is delaminating for the THIRD time.
Dealerships usually do not recommend LYSOL because it is too strong of a chemical cleaner and could damage the duct material over time. But yes this would work or help with the odor
Thank you. My truck broke down for a hot minute and somehow some mice made a nest above my blower motor. No matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the mice smell. I saw videos of people just spraying the vents from the hood, but that never worked. Again, thank you!
How did you guys take out the bottom three bolts at the bottom of the plenum with that bar in the way? I can get the one, but that round bar is blocking the other two. EDIT 7/19: I figured it out, and I saw you showed it at 6:40. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get more slack to move that bracket out of the way.
Are you supposed to pull those pins all the way out to get the connector off? I got them out halfway, but the connectors still dont want to come off the coil, lol. EDIT: I answered my own question. A little wiggling and jimmying with a screwdriver got them loose. Great video!
How hard was it to get those front ignition coils out without disconnecting them? I'm trying myself and I'm terrified I'll break the wiring.😬 EDIT: Got them out! They were a little tough since it had been a LONG time since that kinda work had been done on them.
great job on your side skirt. you turned a supposedly "goofy looking sideskirt" to a marketable side skirt. ihave to mention that the vinyl wrap did the trick. it really did! i really am amazed!!! wow! i can probably make a decision now if i must buy a side skirt for my car. The vinyl made it look like your extension was oversized or the right size for your car.
Unfortunately it’s quite difficult to find any aftermarket parts for the Sonata NF. I bought them over in Korea and got them imported to the states. Go on eBay and search for “Sonata NF Coilovers”
One of the best ways to prevent the mold issue is to not use the recirculation function of the ac in the car. If you do use it just change to fresh air 5 to 10 minutes before you reach your destination. And change your filters at least every 3rd oil change.
I got a few narrow cable ties, tied them together and tied them, placing them in and out of the pegs instead of just around them which can be too tight and it worked well
It’s a great idea To clean your entire vent system, but once you do it replace that cabin filter I personally do it every two years , So my friends, stay cool and fresh
I wish you had shown using the flimsy tool don’t care if you bent the ring a new ring cheap. But that dam ring fused to the tank no chisel or screwdriver helps one bit
i think someone did liquid ass or a stink bomb down my AC vent, out of NO WHERE it smells like rotten eggs, no cat codes just did plugs and injectors all i can think is someone doused my windshield in funk im gonna get my revenge
In this video you mention that you got the shifter nob for the 4 wheel drive control and you were going to install that at a later time but i haven't seen a video of the in stall but the next video i see it already installed. Do you have a video of that install and was there any mods that had to be done in order for it to work since the jeep originally an all wheel drive vehicle?? would love to do that with mine
@@NuMBERNYC was there anything you had to do to convert it to the nob or was it plug and play. cause if its a simple install i would love to be able to change it so its not always all wheel drive. Joe
From Lysol website: "Lysol does not recommend using Lysol Disinfectant spray on brass, copper or aluminum or painted wood surfaces." Please do not use corrosive products when cleaning the AC evaporator. I find that the car dealers have their own products that will not damage the AC evaporator. It's about USD20, and roughtly the same from Amazon or local auto parts stores. Thank you.
Thank you! Lysol does not damage your car parts nor does it damage any home products as long as you let it air dry. That’s why when you blow Lysol in your car, I show you in the video how to air blow through the vents with your car’s AC.
have you had any problems since you replaced the fuel pump? Could you get me a link for the pump? Today I found the fuel gauge is completely zero with a full of gas and then when I drove the car again it came back. Ppl said it might be the sending unit but not sure if I would just replace the sending unit or a whole.
