I'm pleased for you about the car at last👍Getting staff buses and public transport early is hell, enjoy those Volvos while they last, quite a few have been/are being sent to Metrobus😢
Considering doing Arriva or one of Stagecoaches trainee programs after manu year in logistics. I'm only 28, in your opinion as a bus driver would you say I could make a full career out of it. Driverless buses concern me as I don't really want to be out of a job in ten years. 😂
In my opinion you could definitely make a carrer out of it driverless buses are a long way off and even when they do come in theyll still need a driver having completely driver free vehicles in the uk is a long way off let alone buses
@Thebusdriverphotographer Okay, I've got an interview with Stagecoach next week. Have you worked for them? Are they an alright company? I've read some poor reviews, but I'd rather ask an actual driver. Thanks for the advice, mate. I really appreciate it.
I've been scouting around for 659 actually, been doing final rides on all the Omnis I remember growing up with as it looks like the end really is near now!
Fancy that! Zero! 😊 I love it. Hey, do you guys have "School Bus Races" in the UK? Here, across the Pond, there are small trace tracks made of dirt, and decommissioned (bright yellow) School Buses race around this very short racetrack, and even cross over and do figure eights across the track!!! It kicks up a lot of dirt that floats up and lands on the spectators food, like a light "salting" of dirt. And they have drinks, usually cans of Beer, or some sort of other drink, and the people put their thumb over the opening in the can!! So mud tastes pretty good on a slice of Pizza, but not so much in your drink! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Seriously though ... do you guys have that in the UK? Anyway, rock on Bus Driver Photographer! I like your stuff. See you around the app or your next video. 😊
I passed my PCV practical test today for the D License please any tips for a good bus company in London ? I was told if I drove for an agency I could earn more money ?
I’ve never driven for an agency so I can’t really comment on that However agency work generally get paid but less job security if the company doesn’t like you you make to many mistakes and so on they can just tell the agency they don’t want you and that’s that I’d imagine you also wouldn’t get the same perks either bus pass for you and family As for the best company again I haven’t worked in London so I’m not sure which is best As I already work for a go ahead company I’d probably stick with them I’ve heard arriva is ok and stagecoach south was a nice company You’ll have to do your research and decide what best fits you If I was new I’d probably go for the one closest to where I live if I’m honest
@@Thebusdriverphotographer Doing OK. Went thru some rough times that made it hard to keep up with my youtube favorites, but I'm getting back into it mire again. 😊💟
@@joanneblack7697 aww bless you The one saying that I cling to when times get hard Life is a rollercoaster ups downs left rights When I’m down I know life will go up again and when I’m up I’m aware it could dip This is how life is The important thing is how we react to those dips I hope my videos help you gain those happy heights don’t forget my paranormal channel darren’s paranormal adventures For something different
@Thebusdriverphotographer oh Thanks. I have to make sure to add that to my subscribe list as well. That sounds interesting. When life gets hard, what helps me is something Chase Hughes recently said: "YOU give YOURSELF permission to do [whatever]. The "permission" comes from inside. And when you do that, you appear (and ARE) more confident, you no longer feel doubt or reservations about your decisions. In a way, it seems so simple ... but I realized many people, including myself, are often waiting for "someone else" to give them "permission" to do something. And that doesn't work. It must come from internally. I found that to be extremely helpful the more I did it. 👍💟
@@joanneblack7697 this is very true And the most important but hardest thing is to give yourself permission to heal It’s something a lot of people struggle with It’s buried in negative emotions which prevents you from seeing the truth The truth is we control how we feel Thing may happen outside of our control but how we react is very much in our control And choosing to be happy and positive You will then be able to give yourself permission to heal and to live
Thanks. I have another question: how often do you switch from late to earlys or vice versa and does this impact your sleep? I'm considering becoming a bus driver and am wondering how challenging this is.
@@TomWhite-eq9kv we switch quite often generally you have a rest day or 2 in between Sleeping patterns can be affected and yes sometimes it’s a struggle
Thanks, that sounds hard. I was wondering how you can do anything in the evening because as I see it. You are either working in the evening or in bed early for a 4am start.
