@7:04 I had to stop the movie. I just couldn't watch any more. I've seen some REALLY bad movies in my time. This is worse. Can't bitch too much because it cost me nothing but seven minutes and four seconds. But that time was almost painful.
I think around a dozen Sherlock movies were made between 39 and '48. You'd almost forgot that even during war time movies were being made. Making some of the movies following this one even more an accomplishment. This one though, probably being the best one.
I had the opportunity to know Edmund O'Brien's daughters, Maria and Bridget. I told them this is one of my favorite film noirs of al time. Unfortunately, Edmund was not doing well and I couldn't tell him myself.

And I can't stop to think that the name for the Enterprise-E or Kickstart is a reference to the Amiga. Which is the basis for the operating system for that computer.
The only good thing - and I do mean REALLY good thing if you know what I mean - from that sailing trip back to civilization was when the Professor walked over to the Skipper, patted the Skipper on the back and told him, “Well, I know what YOU’RE thinking about.” It showed two old, unmarried men thinking about the same thing.
I'm a fan of wonderful Rats and Sherlock Holmes! Always intended to call one of the boys 'Sumatra'...beautiful name for a Girl Rattie too! However, I am using YE OLDE MEDIEVAL Kings & Queens of England (like Edgar, Edmund). (Also some popstars/footballers have got in over my 25 years of Ratties Care ❤) 😂
Great movie! Brings back memories of watching these classics in b/w. Great job on the coloring process! Btw, speaking of that, can you feature the movie, The Werewolf (1956) with Joyce Holden and Steven Ritch? A colorized version of this movie would be awesome!
