I can remember in those when he used to come on stage at Open Mic Festival to display during freestyle segment Musa been talented for who he’s Keep It Up
Can anyone contextualise what the role is of the man on the left, in a pale shirt and with a ponytail, that the camera occasionally diverts towards? At the end it seems to mention a talent show (eyes unfocussed, small phone view) - is he a judge of contestants?
Don't look at the white man sitting there be concerned about your own music and what your own feel in it... Fk us in the west do not aim to impress us we will always mess your culture up.
All the respect to the kid, but how the hell does he get his name on a track that is entirely made up of something different than his drumming. I could do that. Nothing against drumming, but theres a reason why noone with a djembe gets famous usually. Its somethi g very different to play a full drumset or a string or pipe instrument. I guess its the family name. Nice song nontheless
Wake up. Djembe players taking over all the gigs in the west. They play more regularly being famous means different thing to many people. Gambia got good drummers. The Kora first appeared there too. Good mode.
