My question is about the HYDROS Control X3 / XP8 PRO Pack. I have IM 40L, with a tunz ATO, an Inkbird controller for my two heaters, 2 Nero 3’s, a protein skimmer, three AI primes, and the tank pump itself. With everything that I have plugged in, would the X3/XP8 be a more suitable setup control system for me? Is there a converter of some sort that takes a plug-in and turns it into a port configuration? So many questions about this system. Any advice and help would be much appreciated
I was very excited when I found this series but I think I'm giving up on it. I've already invested several hours and I haven't heard a single thing about why or why not to use live sand/rock vs. dry. Not to mention this channel very much seems to be more interested in selling certain pumps and rock sets than educating people. Another question, did they really think I wanted to watch unboxing fake rock or other utterly mundane tasks? I mean really?
I don't know how much sand you should have or if it's just personal preference. Or is too much sand bad because then it holds algea and nutrients and gets dirty? Idk?
Marine grade plywood only specifies no voids in the ply. Typical cabinet grade plywood will have air pockets here and there. Marine grade does not specify rot resistance, though it does use exterior grade glue. Veneer on BCX is fine for half the price.

Side note: I know the video was about the IceCaps but if your gonna show any kind of new lights (Hydros XHO) IMO you should ALWAYS have water in the tank with water movement. That way we can see the true color and shimmer of the light. No-one has a tank full of coral and fish without water. We wanna see it action!
I uave purchased second hand device and it's works for 4 months , suddenly seneye stopped from yheir end which is very surprising for me. They have stopped and blocked my device and told me to purchase new device, this is not a gentle man practice, not happy and they have lost my trust, i will definitely not recommend this , more cheaper and reliable products available in market.
I just bought one these, the 100 gallon model....and at this moment in time its a 1000lbs paperwieght sitting in my living room. Everything leaked, the plumbing leaked where it sits flush with the glass, there is a huge gap between the return nozzle and the bulkhead of the overflow box so water just pours though there creating a lot of noise. Once we got a second set of plumbing that didn't leak and got it up and running within a couple of hours I had a huge puddle on the floor, the sump itself was leaking at one of the seams. Although the tank, stand are nice the sump is a poor design, its extremely noisy where the water enters the sump and overall just has a very cheap, flimsy feel to it. I do regret buying this tank.
First part of my sentence said, "more." Implying we have some external overflow tanks, i.e. IM & Nyos but need more. Keyboard warrior bringing up price but did I mention pricing? My recommendation is to take a basic English composition class.
