I also love the idea that each rejoining has made the souls of the source more complete and closer to their ancient origins, to this point, where youre finally strong enough to stand up to the ascians. And right before you fall, Ardbert, your shard of original soul merges with you, bringing you closer to the ancients than any mortal after the sundering and giving you the strength to not only stand against them, but win
This is what makes Emet Selch such a great villain. He opens up to you, genuinely believing that you might see things his way. He arguably tries to level with you because he sees that you both want the same thing: a better. happier world. In a way, his trust was critical in the adventures to come.
2:18 this is probably a typical moment in anime but this scene reminds me so much of the Super Android 13 scene where everyone keeps attacking Android 13 in vain to help Goku and by the time he gets the chance to attack he's too late. XD I could just imagine Emet's thoughts being like, "Great, the twins are down now kill the Warrior of Li--oh their non-existant Twelve... Now those two are down, back to the Warrior of--damnit! Two more down, BACK TO THE WARRIOR!"
Oh, wow thank you for the compliment! Axis Mundi takes a while to beat. Even on my first time i had to grind the Stage for a couple of weeks, before i was able to beat it.... Don't worry tho, i am sure you will be able to beat it, just don't give up!
@@Rin_The_Pianist thanks for the answer💗 By the way, I'm playing axis mundi a week already and I see progress, your videos help me a lot Thanks for your support 😊
Online is still broken on Switch (Sort of)... Like, you will find a match maybe, but it will be laggy and very prone to crashing.... If you really wanna get into the "online" scene of Catherine it's best to get the Steam Version and do online Splitscreen via "Parsec" We host tournaments and stuff on the Community Discord.
👏👏👏 this seems so easy when your playing 😂 i didnt passed the ice stage btw more videogames to play and not enough time to even play these games that i bought 😂 work and family and Friends gets a lot of time, i Hope your fine and sane after doing it 😂😂😂
Honestly, as strange as it may sound, Emet in this scene (and many other mid-ShB ones but esp here) plays a lot like what I've seen of people who are family members of people with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Interacting with someone who they know and care for deeply, but who has no idea who they are or their mutual connection. So they try to be helpful, patient and not to spook the afflicted, but every once in a while they can't help but probe a bit and see if that spark is still there, of the person they knew and loved. I seriously doubt it was intentional, but the parallels are there. Spoken from personal experience.
This is amazing, im doing for the first time babel and i already beat altar and menhir but obelisk its harder xd idk if axis mundi is the hardest but the monster blocks that moves around are annoying me, your skill is from another world 😂
Do you play on PS5 or 4 ? I know on PS5 you have to go into accesibility settings and i tend to bind P1 to the dpad for moving, l3 for item, l1 for grabbing and l2 for letting go.... P2 i bind to square, triangle etc for walking, r3 for items, r1 for grabbing and r2 for letting go.
6:04 gods.. when that music started after spending all night getting through tempest, it was honestly the best moment I've experienced playing this game and made me smile so much
Impressive. The highest iv gotten is about 195. I keep on having to use all my jumps on the crazy ass staircase in section 6, but it looks like thats not randomized at all so I'll probably just watch your vid next time im at that section and save those jumps for later sections
Yea, Level 6 is the only one that is not randomized. I would suggest saving your Drinks for level 8 as that can be the most Brutal for new Babel Players. You'll get it done in no time tho! 🤗
@@Rin_The_Pianist just went to your guide for level 6 and upped my steps to 235 and you were right I'm definitely gonna wanna use all my jumps for level 8 that tripped me up bad lol
I don't remember what Filter or whatever it was anymore, this video was originally just intended to be Shown to a friend, was never planed to blow up so much lmao
Considering everything that we learn about the Sundering in Endwalker, once you see this scene again your sympathy for Emet-Selch kind of drops a lot, considering what they were doing to bring Zodiark to life to begin with, not to mention what they actually want.
This single scene is so amazing because it flips the entire games story right on its head in the most perfect way imaginable. All in a single 8 minute scene.
Here he makes it sound like the world was sundered by accident almost - like Hydaelyn smacked Zodiak so hard that it broke reality and split the world into thirteen shards. That's what I thought when I first heard this. And then, after Endwalker... just fuck.
