@@Multi-A Honestly, I agree. I think in the earlier episodes of BLITW I definitely overused it-- so that will probably be something I change for the supercut once all of the episodes are done pfpff
Damn, I kinda feel Larry When he talked about Elise, since i kinda go trought something kinda similar with my big Sister, she also was very Special for me and helped me a lot, then suddenly she died withouth a warning and i also never say to her how much she was for me, now has been 5 years and still couldn't go with it, I Don't know how to feel to the fact that i simpatyze with Larry to
I know a lot of people actually remark a good amount of moments, but can we remark that Larry in the OG game NEVER show up any importance with the fact that Elise, the one that he get "inspired" get murdered? They really made the guy dirty. I like how he show up he aleast care and is aware that the murder is a touching subject, not blindlying believing that Iris is innocent because of how much she looks like Dahlia, giving him that uneasy feeling
I truly like this concept of Larry, his two most close childhood friends, get into this awful situation, aleast feels human that he's worried about Phoenix, instead, we get simp jerk Larry in the third game
@TheTrueTurtlegirl it just feels unfair that all the characters in that game get to learn about themselves in this chapter, but Larry somehow get even worse The thing is that this isn't feeling like "I created a better version of Larry" but a Larry more empathy and reflexive toward others, acting worried toward you childhood friend. He has emotions and feelings of being worried for the ones he knows around and also reflexive about his actions. He still keeps his goofy attitude, still feels like Larry, just that he acknowledged that things had getting very mess up
Larry in the games isn't completely useless, but yeah, it is a lot of potential wasted. I slightly hate how in Spirit of Justice, they just keep Larry the exact same of the first trilogy instead of learning about his mistakes. The guy at least could have lived on like an artist and got famous (it is noticeable that his art skills are very good, more with the portraits, the group art sketch at the end of T&T and in Investigation 2 shows that) And looking at this version you made of him, just realizing about his mistakes and having an uneasy feeling about Iris just feel sooo Canon! WHY THIS ISN'T OFFICIAL?! If he knows about the "Miles Edgeworth choose the death" and now, looking how Phoenix, his other best friend, almost died in the "Bridge were no one else is seeing again, aleast alive" it had to be more shocking that Iris getting arrested.
Loving thid series and the way it all naturally flows together. I'm loving the way you've potrayed Larry cause he also deserves some character growth too. Kinda wish a lot of media stop making goofball charas just stupid and a punching bag for everything.
Great series, but i gotta know, is that a new sprite for larry by any chances, i haven't gotten to that part of the game yet so im not sure if its also in the original game.
AWWWWW HE CALLS HIM MILES AT THE END this is so well made, it genunely feels like the real game. all the characters are SO on point i have to remind myself this isnt a real case
I like this part, a nice balance between investigation, "good old days talking" and sharing the background information with Dahlia Hawthorne with Edgeworth. It seems very fitting that Larry knew about this situation since I thought he kept in touch with Phoenix over the years, so... i buy this story. And as shocked as Edgeworth reacted to this matter he maybe would understand that Phoenix was really kind of heartbroken in his JFA absence. And I like it that Larry is telling Edgeworth his unbelievable story at the end, so I guess, without the Psycholocks, in order to help Edgeworth with his investigation. And no, he is not useless. Maybe he will get that sooner or later. This story is so damn nice, I want to see more of it.
Yes! The investigating part! I like how Larry was involved and shocked when he was confronted with sister Bikinis testimony. I was too much for him... really... he has my sympathy. And I love how Edgeworth tried to investigate with the eyes of a defense attorney, he's taking his job very serious. And... well that he's worried that Phoenix might be disappointed of him if he couldn't guarantee Mayas and Pearls safety... It made me sad... but Phoenix believes in him, I don't think he would ever be disappointed in Edgeworths work. I am really into this.
Give Miles strengh and patience to deal with Larry and Gumshoe. I like the way how these two interact... i mean, they have their habits and quirks but they are fitting and I can understand that Larry wants to help but maybe he himself didn't believe what he saw because it's so damn surreal that he seems so non-cooperative in helping plus his emotional damage about Elises death and the almost death of Phoenix is hitting him again and again. But Edgeworth takes hin "new job" very serious, even if he said that relying on a statement based on belief is not his way to work on. But he believes in Phoenix, so... this is really something, right?
I always knew I wanted more Larry character development (because we FORGET HIM SO MUCH),, but THIS???? IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND WAY MORE THAN I COULD’VE HOPED. He ACTUALLY feels like a real person instead of an annoying little gremlin(I like the energy most of the time, but it really wasn’t appropriate in this moment),, and I love seeing internal dialogue from him. This iteration of 3-5 shows how the three of them could’ve been friends in 3rd grade,, especially between Larry and Miles since for me, it’s really hard to imagine them ever getting along XDD Your art also looks amazing! It’s distinct from the AA artstyle but not so much that it’s jarring when paired with the original sprites. I GASPED when I saw the background images with hypothermic Phoenix, they’re so nicely done! UGHH,, can’t wait to binge this series since I’m a year late to the party!

Seems Edgeworth is burdened with a lot to deal with. Iris' Testimony, Larry's company, some weird Psycholocks made by a strange luminous magic rock thing and... well feelings he can't put into words. But he's wrong... such things are NOT better left unsaid. And Iris sensed it, too. Well I think that Edgeworth has some Psycholocks, too, which lay upon his heart... i wonder if he can unlock them himself sometime. I like the idea that Phoenix has mentioned Edgeworth to Iris, so she knows that he maybe is... "Phoenix Special Someone". I am enjoying this series a lot, thank u!
It's amusing to see Edgeworth this upset because Phoenix crossed the burning Dusky Bridge and he might have died. He acted similar as Phoenix in Justice for all, where he was upset over the message Edgeworth left behind. But it shows how much Edgeworth worried about Phoenix. And like I said before, I also like the conversations between Larry and Edgeworth. It has a nice dynamic. I wish this hospital scenery was in the game, it could be like you described it, because... well i don't think Edgeworth wouldn't figure out what Phoenix meant when he gave him his Attorneys Badge and the Magatama. I like that Edgeworth was insecure about Phoenix' request... but like he said... no one can do better than Edgeworth himself. And the last moment between the two... you can sense that there ist more between them. I love it. Thank u for this great work!
