That's a mix of Southern Mayan, Teotihuacan and spanish Barroco, not "aztec", please look at historically accurate models of Tenochtitlán, they were called the Mexica, they lived in Tenochtitlán, Tlatelolco and Tlacopan
this was really cool , however none of the architecture depicted is not historically "aztec". Its more of just a mash of different styles of maya architecture (a completely different civilization and time period) and a giant pyramid from teotihuacan which was built hundreds of yeara before the mexica (the aztecs) even migrated to central mexico. im not discrediting the hours it took u to build this project, just saying the title "mesoamerican inspired city" would be more accurate.

My god, I'd like to ask, what even is this thing? but there's way too much effort involved to dump it into the other "aztec pyramid fails" that there's tons about on youtube and whatever dark corners of planet minecraft you find on a 5 min. google search, it's just a very detailed mish-mash between whatever culture you can find that did monumental building on mesoamerica, there's a modified version of the sun pyramid of Teotihuacán, early el mirador pyramids, maya-like pyramids kinda looking like being inspired from el dorado, el castillo from chichén itzá, altars, a ball game surrounded by a court that although in spirit it tries to emulate mesoamerican geometric style courts it falls to the sin of arches every novice builder goes for, there's a couple temples in which I have no comments or questions or anything, just a good job, A+, cool. I should really make a video reviewing this build, an A+ for effort and detail, a B- for investigation, builder's kinda did it's homework, and a B+ for distribution.
This looks amazing! I love these games and I'm so glad I came across this, this must've been so fun (and also increasingly tedious) to make. I do have a question though, is this legal? You remade all of BioShock Infinite in Minecraft and released the map to the public for free, have Irrational Games come after you at all? Do you think they ever will?
It’s not illegal! It would be illegal if I copied assets and put them into a game but considering it’s completely built from the ground up it would be considered original work.

The Aztec empire was an empire which existed in Mexico around 600 years ago, it’s capital city being one of the most populous metropolitan areas of the world at the time. Their capital city was called tenochtitlan and was built on an island within a lake in present day Mexico City. Not only is the city gone, but so is the lake which surrounded it. Mexico City is all that remains.
I know that its been a year since you made this but I do have a question. I will soon be getting minecraft java and when i download the world is it going to be like when minecraft has its own worlds in their item shop so that when you get in it you cant place blocks or anything?

Holy hell! This build is beyond astonishing, honestly! This is the best Bioshock related Minecraft construction I've ever seen, in fact it might very well be the best Minecraft construction I've ever seen period. You would make a fantastic video game designer with skills like this. Did you make this entirely solo? 😦
