I will be going to Japan in December and staying 3 nights in Ikebukuro so I will definitely go to Super Potato. Thank you very much for the video. I have a query, do consoles like DS and Gameboy work properly?
Super Potato is worth a look but don't buy anything there: it's a tourist rip off usually: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tv2rENMvLwU.html Everything there and more is much easier to find and cheaper in the suburbs so renting a car is hugely recommended If you can't, the Surugaya stores are better in every way but name value, and Hard Off stores nationwide (but not in the wards of Tokyo) are better as well. Shameless promotion but the videos on my channel show how much you should hope to pay for games and systems in Japan (including a Virtual Boy which this video thinks is rare or special or something). Don't get fleeced on your trip, and enjoy!
Oh and DS and Game Boy are all cross compatible but 3DS isn't. Still you can find original 3DS Japanese systems for as little as a few bucks if you know where to look.
