Young mom and dad who took a leap of faith to try their luck in Canada. 🇨🇦
In our videos, we will talk about being an international student in Canada, being an open work permit holder, and anything about our life here in Canada.
Living abroad, is not easy. Such a Big adjustment and of course being homesick. I came to California, USA, when I was a teenager. I had a simple life in V. Mapa, Sta Mesa, Manila where I was born and grew up. I experienced so much floods, many Typhoons from A to Z while living in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭.I walked to and from my elementary public school. I played with my neighbor friends. I attended many procession events especially when Poong Nazareno’s Festival or Pista. I enjoyed my life in the Philippines. I was lawatchera. I Visited every places I could imagined via by riding jeepneys and buses. Very Beautiful life and yet happy. I was pampered by my Tia who raised me at the time I was born. I don’t regret living in California. I matured and became responsible. I am now very independent person who doesn’t wait for anything. I do it myself when I can, otherwise, I have to hire a handyman. This country, makes me a person of what I am today, strong, independent minded and reliable. My ability to continue to grow and learn from easy to hard life has made me not to depend on other people regardless it is your family or friends. They also have their own family to worry. This country gave me so much opportunities; my education here has helped me to get a better jobs From county, civil service position to federal civil service positions. I always asked myself, would I have the same opportunity if I was in the Philippines 🇵🇭? Masarap, determination to make your life better. Ang mga electrical wirings, are all hanging down, as they all called it ‘Spaghetti wires.’ Lahat may electric fans mahirap or mayaman kaya lalo sila naghihirap. Kailangan, kasi mainit. Brown or black out, to reduce electricity. Mabagal at mahina sa mga emergency supplies. Sacrifice. Today’s date is August 5, 2024, sunny day in California USA 🇺🇸, Monday morning.
Next time sa Lake Louise... have a little extra time para sa Lake Agnes hike. Around 2.5kms with slight elevation gain. May coffeeshop/teahouse sa taas ng bundok. Plus the lake (Agnes) of course. You won't regret making the hike up there! Enjoy!
Kawawa ang nag oover time sa work c more tax goes lang sa tax to pay. Kc more money you make ay much more magiging luxury sa life kaya aabutin . At the end of day ay wala rin savings but too much kalat na sa house kaya aayawan nyo na lumipat sa another house for better investment sa pag tanda. Daming under poverty sa old age dahil sa auna ang luho or na over sabik sa HINDI naranasang life sa Pinas kahit pa degree(s) holder pa. Temember frienda are only good hanggat napapakinbanagan ng kapwa. All the BEST salife nyo here in Canada.
Utilities not included. Pero it will save you time & effort to commute. Hindi nagmamadali…Jackpot na kayo sa 3 bedroom. Cheers! 🍺
Pag pasado sa roadtest Class 5 GDL ang ma issue sa u, after 2 years pwedeng ma fully license subject to approval. (clean redord for the past year before approval) Pero pag may completion certificate sa driving school 6months ang waiting time to be fully licensed. GOOD LUCK PO SA ROADTEST! check mo email for tips!
7:54 Hi Alwin & Emma, we saw your family earlier at St. Albert the Great Parish church. By the way Lake Louise is pronounced "Lhu-is" because the "s" is succeeded by the vowel "e" (feminine form). If it's "Louis" it's pronounced "Lhu-i" (musculine form).
Me and my friends are NOT leaving Canada after 18 years here. We love the Philippines a lot and we vacation (and shop!) almost every year. But, the fresh air, no traffic, awesome orderliness in life and business PLUS FREE HEALTHCARE AND FREE EXCELLENT EDUCATION from nursery to high school makes Canada the place to stay. My mother reached the ripe old age of 94 because of FREE MEDICINES (and there were 12 kinds everyday and they were even DELIVERED at home), endless DOCTOR CHECK-UPS, several HOSPITAL stays and FREE Personal Support Worker (PSW) visits everyday because of Canada. My son is now a Chemical Engineer and graduated from one of the TOP universities in the world (University of Toronto) and his tuition fee was HUGELY discounted and he got government bursaries because tuition is geared to income. My eldest sister was diagnosed with cancer recently and she had FREE SURGERY AND MEDICINES AND CHEMO AND RADIATION and she's receiving excellent care. I gave birth WITH EPIDURAL and everything was FREE from doctor's checkups leading to birth up to hospital stay and immunization shots and check-ups for my baby. I just had FREE physical exam with my family doctor which I do every year to monitor my health. We can travel to Europe and the USA ANY TIME WE WANT for vacation. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON....
Ako, wifey at ang 2 children - here sa Montreal, (West Island), Quebec. We bought our house back in 2005 (me-23yrs old & wife-24 yrs old) on a 12,000 square feet land, 5 bedroom and 3 bath, finished basement with an in-ground pool(10 ft deep/18ft X 36 ft dimension) for $350,000. Ang mortgage namin way back was around $2000.00 a month. (Not including the following:) $400 / month - Property Tax $125 / month - School Tax $200 / month - Utility Hydroelectric $160 / month - home insurance $0.00 / month - Water (Free sa Quebec) $150 / month - Bell TV & Internet $30 / month - ADT Home Alarm system Apartment fees within Montreal Island varies from borough to borough (town), the closest you are down town or near Subway station the more freaking expensive, a min of ($2,000 for a 1 or 2 bedroom). Before we bought our own house, my wife and I lived in a duplex upstairs that my parents owned. I paid my parents $800.00 a month for a 3 bedroom (NDG / Moncland area - near Cavendish ave. and Sherbrooke street). I grew up in Quebec et donc Je parle français aussi.
pag tlagang maluho mahirap magsurvive dito..dapat spend based on your income..maganda din parehong magasawa ngwowork unless ung income ng isa is enough..
My Aunt lives in Calgary, sa may OGMOORE SE. She is planning to sell her house next year and will buy a condo. Her house is on a higher ground, when downtown was flooded, her area was spared! So, make sure you know where is the safest location. Goodluck!
Winter ❄️ tires are mandatory if you plan to live in the province of Quebec. A $500.00 ticket if you get caught between December 1st to the month of April.
Congratulations Emma and Alvin! You guys are deserving of every blessing given to you. I’m a new follower. I like your videos a lot, they’re very informative and sincere. Good luck and more blessings. PR and citizenship coming. Your son is so cute. I’m pretty sure you’re gonna get rich and famous soon 😊Please don’t change and stay humble. ❤
Start a small house. Wag put in your mind na yong bibilhing nyong house ay di na nyo papalitan. So buy a house na iisiping ibebenta nyo in 2/3 yrs. Wag isiping dun na kau for 25 or mor years . Kmi every time add extra payment each anniversay ng mortgage . Or mag double dipping kau sa pag bababayad hindi aabot ng 25 yrs ang house nyo after paying that long.
Looks kc very luxurious living na kc ginagawa nyo. Dami pang possible na tipirin nyo . If for example di pa potty trained si Zion. Kc kid eating table food na ay alam naman ng everyone NOt sa Day care kawawa din ang nag papalit ng diaper nya ay medyo ang dirty diaper ay di na kanais nais plus extra tipid na sna if no more diaper si Zion. Kahit so cheap sa Goodwill but over indulge kau sa pag bili .
