Thank you so much for checking out my channel, I'm Leaf! Here I play a whole bunch of games, mostly in the simulation and park building genres! It's great to have you here.
This has me pretty excited if it does get confirmed. I always had trouble getting into the first one because the building system to me felt clunky in comparison to planet zoo, which I played first. So if the build system is improved from the first game, I think I'll have better luck sticking with it
1 Water park rides 2 Modular gift shops 3 Realistic seasons changing in different areas of the world 4 Custom maps 5 More realistic and more scenery pieces
I'm a zoo girlie first and foremost but I can't not get excited for funny theme park game #2, its gonna be so slay More map/biome variety is something both Planet games could really improve in, having an entire globe to work off of like in PZ doesn't work as well if the Mediterranean scrubland looks like the African savanna or the notorious Amazon rainforest in Aotearoa that was thankfully fixed (which does at least go to show that they're aware of it and improving it, even if it still has a ways to go). Maybe not quite as important for a theme park game as it is for a zoo game (hell they might not even use the globe system from PZ at all), but I see no reason why it wouldn't be great to have. More skirts, whether tied to a particular region or not, would be great too. Loved the city map from the first game and I'd love more variations of that for different architectural styles, maybe a coastal map that isn't limited to an island like PZ's is too. To add onto map variety, I'd love an update to guest clothing, especially considering how likely it is for PC2 to get weather. No more crowds wearing shorts and T-shirts during a snowstorm in Antarctica please. Most importantly for me though is that I just want a more proper dark ride system + maybe a lighting update. (and even more importantly it could lead to a nocturnal house system for PZ2 lmao. Let me build my dream kiwi house without having to turn it to night every time I go inside damnit.)
Ehh, I'm exited but, I cant see what it can add thats not just polish really. Like with planet zoo, you have clear squeal hooks of Aviaries/aquariums/fully animated and customizable exhibits ext but planet coaster feels like it is definitive. Are there any ride types/themes that could be added? Waterparks? other than "Planet zoo but coasters" I'm not seeing what the big hype driver is.
Hey leaf! I have a zoo suggestion for you! You should visit either Blackpool zoo or Chester zoo in my home country of England, it’s abit of a travel but it’s fine
I hope you do a short on their reptile house - it's one of my favorites, with the inclusion of a threatened state native subspecies, the Lake Erie Watersnake. Only found on a few islands between Ohio and Canada.
