It’s not easy.” *woosh* you can see *WooOsH* there is n- *WOOooSh* NOT A BREATH OF *WOOOOOAHHAHHSHHH* WINDD ON THEE WATER *boat flips* “This is the doldrums”
Not me, I wouldn't be able to stand living in a hot climate if it was just stagnant air with no breeze. It would be like being in an oven without the fan force.
Reading The Rime of the Ancient Mariner - his description of the doldrums sent me looking for video of what it looked like. So odd out in the middle of the ocean.
That would defeat the purpose of "sailing"....I am sure they have enough money, resources and ingenuity to have figured this out, without Captain Obvious's suggestions....So my final thoughts are ....DUUUUUHHH!!!
Lol? You sure did some math errors... He said water temperature is at 30/32 C, which is 86-89.6 F. Air temperature is at 35 C which is 95 F. The temperature in the cabin is about 50 C which is 122 F
Thanks Vestas for a good race! It was a pleasure to follow you around the world, lets do it again! Those wondering if they would do it again I say yes, don't put your topsiders away till there is too much old age in your body to continue! GOD Bless from an ex USCG captain, who was a rigger, sailor of one designs, catamarans, all sorts of big boats and ice boats also!
Potentially good for the coral and phytoplankton, however someone will need to come up with an affordable alternative for those of us without sunscreen sponsorship. Current pricing shows Aethic SPF 40 is $74 USD for 5 fl ounces. Yikes! And I though Blue Lizard was expensive at $15 USD for 5 fl ounces.
SET SAIL from Dutch Band VIBRANT ARM !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Thx3KSnvbY.html Also listen to Angel Desire !! Two fantastic songs!!

Padraig rogers Once again, Islas Malvinas. Thanks for reading, learning and respect the history of each country. Colonialism is not the way of any educated civilization in this century.
Isn't it wonderful how sailors and townsfolk can pull together and make it happen! God bless you on the next leg of your journey! Blue skies and fair winds to Itajai'
