Green pumpkin trd on a 1/10 oz finesse weedless shroom. All Zman. I catch lots of small bass ever now and then you catch a decent one. Fished cave run today. Caught white bass in the jumps.
@@fishwithyamamotos in the full video there is a clip where I get them out of my fly box and I show the fly on another catch. That fly setup is really good for bedded bluegill. I have several videos on that lake usually use the same setup color of the flies change with water clarity.
That seat is a tempress from bass pro. I have since switched to a millennium marine seat. I put a link to that video also. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VsJlrsMhW2E.htmlsi=Av66RbKM8PNQWGiE
Great video man!! Nice looking kayak! I’ve always wanted to make a kayak video for my channel!! Love watching your videos mate! Awesome job, keep it up! 🤝💪
Looks like a fun day! Keep whatever you want and what is legal, but big male bluegills are the ones you want to throw back generally to help keep the population of bigger fish up. They are the ones that guard the nest, and can be up to 10 years old
Central Kentucky has several small lakes that are excellent for big bluegill. Corinth is closest to me so I fish it the most. Bolts in dry ridge and Elmer Davis in Owen county are also really good.
Yeh I work at the Toyota plant in Georgetown. I just do my best to get out as much as I can. Spring and fall takes up several of my vacation days. Hope you like the video.
Was definitely a heck of a fight. With that tackle you have to just wear them out. Was tough getting the other 4 poles out of the water and trying to get him away from the brush pile I was on.
Slip bobber slides up your line to a bobber stop which is a piece of string tied to the line. Below the piece of string is a bead then the float. When you cast out your bait will sink until the float and bead comes up and hits the string. That sets your depth. So you can slide the string up and down your line. This sets the depth you want to fish. Also makes it easy to cast and fish 6-8. Deep. When you cast the float rides against the sinker.
Very hard to catch nice ones in there. My biggest fish was 11 inches. Been wanting to try taylorsville. Only fished it once for crappie out of a bass boat. Your last video from there was a good one lots of big slabs. I’m going to have to try my luck there just hard to not go to Guist. It’s about a sure thing to catch a bunch there. Just on the small size.
