Mineral sunscreen (zinc and titanium dioxide) is much better than chemical sunscreen. You shouldn’t compare products if they have different (mineral vs chemical) types of sunscreen. Mineral is better by far.
I can see your point but that's a subject of hot debate and 'better' is dependent on your skin tone and type. There's benefits and reasons to choose both based on a person's skin: "Both mineral and chemical sunscreens are effective at sun protection when used correctly. Mineral sunscreens are better for people with sensitive or acne prone skin." GoodRX "Chemical sunscreens tend to be more water- and sweat-resistant. As well as lighter and are often preferred by oily skin types." Dermstore "Chemical UV filters are known for their...superior skin penetration and absorbability make application faster and more seamless. For those who are worried about white cast, particularly those with darker skin tones, chemical filters are typically more invisible than mineral ones" Pavise. "Because of their GRASE status, pregnant and breastfeeding people may prefer to use mineral UV filters when choosing sun protection out of an abundance of caution" Pavise. "Mineral sunscreen may be your safest bet, though it’s a hotly debated topic in the research community." USA Today. So the takeaway is to use the one that's right for you and that will make you wear broad spectrum sunscreen.
We had the exact opposite experience when we stayed here. We stayed in one of the casita suites for several days and thought the breakfast was great and the room was comfortable and quiet, and we've booked another stay this coming February for six nights.
That’s great to know thanks for sharing 👍 Maybe they had an off day as I only tried it once. We were also put on the main road side so all we heard was traffic and sirens.
I'm also looking at a few of these on the pre loved market. Debating medium vs large. I already have a Ysl rive gauge in black so I'm looking to get this one in red raffia or boucle.
I love finding deals on the pre loved market. Plus it also makes me feel a little bit better about keeping things in circulation longer vs fast fashion. Thanks for watching and have a beautiful day 🤗 Scoped out some boucle: fashionphile.pxf.io/Y9ER3O and red raffia options for you: fashionphile.pxf.io/xkVLPk (affiliate links) xoxo
It is not actually the tint on the windows that prevent the lens from getting dark. It is the car windows themselves. They are made to filter out UV rays which is what makes the transition lens darken.
You are welcome. No biggie. I did really enjoy the video. It was very informative, you did a great job. I actually ended up getting the exact same frames and lens that you settled on. Thanks for all the information.
It would be much easier to determine REAL results if lighting conditions were the same. There is no excuse for that. Much less in the second you have makeup. It is disappointing when I see people getting excited and they do not even notice the differences. And would buy a product thinking they would get similar results. Be honest with your audience. By the way, I am not subscribed. I did not even watch the video. Just by looking at the first picture it was enough to determine that results were not accurate.
I’m sorry that’s how you feel. The 1st photo was taken in a house in California where we’d gone for radiation therapy for a while. The 2nd back at home with the same lights. There is no makeup in either, I have clear lip balm in the 2nd and curled lashes but no mascara or anything else. My eyebrows are tattooed in both. There are lots more photos in the article on my blog taken over the months in the same place with the same lighting and no makeup (you can zoom in to look) because I totally agree consistency is important but sometimes life throws us curve balls.
It’s personal preference so you could try with and without and see what works best for you. If you use a primer wait 1 min for it to dry before using the CC cream. I know a lot of people prefer to use a primer 1st. I just use an eye cream with mine before applying this. You could also use a serum beforehand if you have a favorite and wanted the extra skincare but this has a serum in it as well. Hope that helps xo
Thank you for the honest review. The noise may have bothered me. On vacation I want quiet because I do live in the City of Boston. The breakfast was unacceptable. I hope you spoke to management. 😊
Thanks for watching. I'd normally wear ear plugs to block out the noise but I don't like to when I'm in rooms by myself as I don't feel safe not being able to hear everything. Hopefully, they'll fix the breakfast issues because it's such a small detail and the hotel is lovely.
@@EveDawes is the TGM larger than your bag? I found one and wasn’t sure. Maybe it’s too large. It’s 10.5x11x8.5 Looks beautiful but could be an expensive mistake 🤔🤔
Love your videos - Just need your opinion on high waisted pants when you have an extremely short torso. In my case the bottom of my bra is only 1 inch above the waist of my pants. Is that ok?
Aw thank you! I have a short torso too and actually love that high waisted pants makes the gap shorter as it makes your legs look longer and if you’re wearing a crop top shows less skin which makes me feel more comfortable personally. Check proportions in the mirror but if you feel comfortable and like the look go for it 🤗
Hey Eve! Thank you so much for your GRLFRND jeans review. I just pulled the trigger on a pair at Revolve and I was still feeling a bit unsure. It's good to see them on different people with different body types to get an idea of how they really will look on us and from what I can see, GRLFRND are pretty consistently flattering around the waist, the hips and the leg. Appreciate you!
Please Help! I just got the mask and the collar. How do I charge them? Don't they come with their own charging cubes? This is an expensive purchase for that not to be included. It's also upsetting that there's no customer service number. I'm pissed off about it. Hate feeling like a sucker. Would appreciate your help!
To charge your device: You're going to charge the controller (the one with the on/off button) not the mask and collar. Charge the controller using the supplied cable. Insert the small end of the cable (USB-C) into the controller. Insert the large end (USB-A) into a wall plug. Once fully charged, the indicator light will be steady green. The controller must be charged on its own (not attached to the mask or collar) as this may cause damage to the battery. The Collar will not work if plugged into the controller while it is charging. @lydiakilby375 if you don’t have a plug you can charge via the port on your computer, car power outlet (where you’d charge your phone) or plug you put your iPhone in to charge it. Unfortunately most companies aren’t doing the plug part anymore just the USB wire.
@@EveDawes thanks so much! I found two that belonged to other products and they work great. However, I think they should be included considering the cost of both the mask and the collar. That was really my point. Thanks for the link to the company. I let them know my thoughts on how not only should these expensive devices have their own charging cubes, they should also come with a higher quality form of instructions. Just my thoughts. I appreciate you taking the time to help me!
@@lydiakilby375 I totally agree. I can't believe how many companies are skimping on this now. My iPhone 15 Pro didn't even come with a charging adaptor just a wire. iPhone say "As part of our efforts to reach our environmental goals, iPhone models no longer include a power adapter in the box" but to me companies should not be able to sell a product that doesn't work without it.
It's exclusive to Sephora so if you have Sephora there then it should be. Sorry I can't check, I did try for you, as when I google Sephora UK it's denying me access.
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAGS clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I got the set with the big bottle and a bunch of little bottles. It was 150. I also tried the red serum. I really love them but I don’t know if it did anything. I’ll buy it again just cause it feels nice and smells beautiful. 🙈
It can be really hard to tell as sometimes it takes a while. I always take before and progress pics to try and keep track because it’s hard to tell day to day.
