We love to travel! In years past, we have travelled to many places on vacations such as London, Paris, Rome, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Alaska to name but a few. As we are now retired and plan to travel extensively and share our Travels here on RU-vid for all our family and friends to experience it with us along the way. When we were younger, we took many road trips and often found ourselves requiring guidance/directions when we let ourselves get lost. We called those times adventure miles, and that always stuck with us. I was so disappointed to hear it was hot when you got there. One of the reasons I was looking at moving to Nice was I had read they have cool weather year round. But thanks for the reality check!

Staying in Dubrovnik Heights, makes your stay also much cheaper. Dubrovnik Heights is 8 km away from old town Dubrovnik. The catch with Dubrovnik Heights is becouse it is in the town of Ivanica in Bosnia and Hercegovina 🇧🇦

How was it traveling during this time? We have wanted and planned to go in February but was told that it isn’t safe with what’s going on in the world right now.. did you feel it was safe?
We felt completely safe. We picked locations that we felt would be least impacted and did our research as to safest communities and picked accommodations there.
@@ouradventuremiles5782 next time in London during the day look for narrow roads and alleyways ( walkways ) , they tend to lead to old pubs , restaurants and shops etc and are quieter ( Covent Garden , Mayfair etc etc )
Yes, that is the one, I believe you may be referring to Ealing Broadway, which we walked to several times, great little village with lots of shops and restaurants.

Hey Alison, glad you enjoyed it! Weather has been amazing and we are taking advantage of it. The Word "wow" has escaped our lips a lot since we got here, not to mention a few bruises from pinching ourselves. LOL
