Hey man, just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your take on this soundtrack. Final scene gives me chills. Really good job. Recently I finished writing my master’s thesis about modern music for silent movies and used this as one of the examples. I’ve also coposed my own soundtrack for Nosferatu (as part of my master’s thesis) and planning to release my version of the movie on Halloween.
Exactly! I would have made a kneeler out of the tank, but I have to leave room for the shifter! So up front it goes for extra cooling and some weight distribution.
@@krtt750 since I don’t lean, when I go around right handers, the Amals shoot race gas out of the tickler vents. Individual dual floats on the Mikuni carbs don’t do that.
@@deitersmonkey Well I have seen (on you tube) of a lot a fast outfits in the UK that use Amal's. Singles, twins, and triples. I have not heard of that complaint. (I do communicate with some) And re we talking monobloc's or MkII's in your particular case?
@@deitersmonkey scratch that, i found the old playlist i saved from itunes KidA and then Amnesiac right after for the "Kid Dracula playlist. The other is for E.T. where you just stack KidA multiple times to fill the playing time for the film, spooky how on point it is. cheers!
Your outfit is identical to mine, but seems to pull better in top gear. On mine, 4th is only really good for ideal flat road or downhill, despite the lower gearing. What sort of speed can you manage in top and what final drive gear ratio do you use? Thanks
On the second of 3 engine rebuilds, I changed the actual ratio. I am pretty sure they sell a smaller output sprocket for sidecar use so you can pull top gear.
@SupersonicStu06 Well, I think it's a pleasure to debate "Mustang" vs "Spitfire" both works of engineering art. But the Mustang had a Packard-Merlin engine. Significantly different in detail from the original, finely crafted beast.
The equivalent version of the Spitfire (mk XIV) is actually slightly faster then the P-51D. The Mustang had the range of the escort fighter it was. The Spit had the climb rate and cannon firepower of the interceptor it was.
The RAF used almost every version of the Mustang from the A to the K, so there is nothing wrong with having a D in British colours. Although RAF D version Mustangs usually wore 'standard' camo, some of them were left all silver like American aircraft except of course for the RAF roundals!
the hurricane actually outdid the spitfire in kills during ww2. mainly cuz they headed for the bombers while the spits fought of the 109's so it depends on which statistics you have as reference. but when it comes to dogfights the spitfire's truly sharp edge.
