I remember seeing him at the release event for his first CD at the Hard Rock Cafe in Houston, TX. I've always been a fan, and I had wondered why i hadn't heard anything in quite some time about him. I wish him nothing but the best no matter which path he chooses
I've seen him twice and had tickets to meet him in Dec. 2019. He has been my favorite artist since i was 15, 24 years. I hope he recovers but I think if he come back and couldn't sing, he should put out an instrumental cd. Most of his fans love the voice and guitar and I think would be happy to even hear him play. He puts on an amazing show.
I can appreciate a woman playing guitar, but face it, No woman will ever be a guitar God. I don’t care how great they are. It’s a man’s domain. Ain’t no bunch of guys waiting backstage to get a chance to shag some chick guitar God. Rock is cock baby, and it ALWAYS will be. Be honest.
I think Larry McCray's new album will be an phenomenal experience with Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith. I do really love Joe Bonamassa's music for a while, as long as I can feel every collaborative effort from Eric Gales to Mike Zito to Joanne Shaw Taylor to so much more to name.
I got to see him perform in NY at a small venue. He was amazing. Prayers for healing and even if he doesn't return to touring, he still is an amazing musician and will always have a place in blues history.
What's the point of being in the music business? Fame? Way less pressure to just not even think about going into the music business and to just play your instrument and live a normal life - especially these days. The music business is horrible these days and honestly the music isn't that good in any genre. I don't have any urge to go see a live show. The majority of the greatest musicians that ever lived and probably will ever live have already passed away. I'm only 26 so no I'm not some nostalgic "boomer." I truly believe this.
Joe Bonamassa is on of the best artist, businessmen, and humble human beings there could ever be. He speaks truth and has the scars to prove it. His shows are a clinic on how a concert should be done, masterful and heartfelt every time. Enjoy this man while you can, he is national treasure of blues based guitar music and in my opinion the best there is. See you in Cleveland February 22nd 👍🎸😎
I made a list about names worth to be checked. As I get older I need to know more about guitar playing. Something beyond David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Mark Knopfler, Bryan May, Slash or Edge. These are the names picked here from comments: Glen Campbell Robin Trover Alvin Lee Walter Trout Tommy Bolin Frank Marino Duane Allman Randy Rhoads Billy Loosigian Danny Kirvan Roy Buchanan Terry Cath Merle Travis Rick Renstrom Rory Gallager Danny Gatton Jerry Donnahue
@@Banzo_ Obviously, that's not true... I do! Call me crazy, but I think it's important to see the face and the person that's talking. Otherwise, it's just a podcast.
You know apart from Doing Great Music and Blues Joe Bonamassa is a Nice Guy - I met Stevie Ray once - and he was nice to me - still can't believe I met him - he was on the level like Joe - Straight up - Joe reminds me of Stevie Ray - not the tone or the style - Just Both Straight up - Blues Greats Blues is a Great Genre - Samantha Fish - she is up there - with her own Style - I sure would like to hear him live and Jamming - Fantastic
