I didn’t think it was that good originally, then I realized in the span of a few days, I used over 60gigs of data when streaming. Then I remembered using a 13 mini as a hotspot and after 3hrs the phone was hot and battery was toast…
Smartish, I've used them for a few years now. I buy these cases every year and always recommend to my family and friends. Never a sponsored video or ever given anything like this for free to review. The grip for me is what really makes these great cases. My wife uses a slightly beefier case for her 16 Pro, I use the not-so beefy case for the Pro Max to keep the bulk down.
we've had 2 dyson stick vacs have issues. the seals on the trash compartments weren't sealing. best buy just let us get brand new ones. edit- also just got the new iphones and didnt have to pay for apple care
That is awesome! I was always curious about the phones. Typically, I get them every year through Apple and get the monthly Applecare+ with theft and loss. Did you get the phones through a carrier or unlocked?
They have quite the selection of soup to typical chinese food dishes that are also excellent. I did ask about Banh Mi sandwiches, and they do not have those. Hopefully, one day they will. A grab a go spicy pork sandwich is nice somedays.
Are those the 27” LED Cinema Displays? Mine use the Mini Display Port connections, can you connect the Mini Display Port to the Thunderbolt and then the Mac Mini? Don’t want to lose my two monitors but I need to upgrade.
You all are working on the same side of the engine that I am working on as well. I have a dilemma. I was replacing the belt tensioner and I was putting the new tensioner in and my wrench is now stuck between the tensioner and the frame of the car. My socket is super slick and I’ve tried to use a vice grip pliers to spin the socket in the right direction but no luck. So now my wrench is stuck and I’m all out of ideas to get it off. I would love to attach a picture but I don’t think I can here. Any help is appreciated!
Yes, apologies no day one video(s) as we were on vacation and where we visited had no Apple store. But videos coming soon when we pick them up. Thanks for asking!
For the second solution I believe you can use the usb port on the magic keyboard, for the 11 inch ipad pro (not the new m4) you can get the keyboard for around 150. Great video!
Great question. It has typically taken about 5-7 business days for me to see it even though apples says up to 14 business days. The phone call to apple can take upwards of 20 minuets if you get bounced between departments as only one department does apple care refunds. Thats one more reason my wife prefers the month to month so she doesn't have to call and cancel she can just do it on device.
Maybe you can help me, you have a phone every year, I’m upgrading from the 12 pro max, I was going to upgrade last year but everyone said just wait, 😅 I regret waiting because now that I see the 16 pro, it’s underwhelming In addition, my carrier is offering 15 pro max with a discount + AirPods Pro 2 for free So I’m in a dilemma ❤ Do I save money and get free AirPods because it’s still an upgrade for me 😮 Or do I go for the 16 pro or pro max because I waited so long I might as well 😮 Plus apple needs more of my money right 😂 Thank you so much ❤ Just wanted to know your recommendation 😊
So there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the 15 Pro phones. Period, end of story. However, you don’t upgrade every year, so with the updated ultra-wide camera, 5x camera on both Pro/Pro Max (like last year), camera control button, Apple A18 Pro silicon power and efficiency, much improved battery life, and slightly bigger displays. I would probably get the 16 Pro or Pro Max. You will be set for awhile and can happen onto a sale on Airpods Pro 2 and get those later. If you go with the 15 Pro/Pro Max, you will still be happy though. Hope this helps.
good vid, hope your channel succeeds you seem very knowledgeable and good vibe! cant wait to get mine, going with the desert titanium i think.. right now i have the natural titanium 15 pro, but i just love that tan vibe!!!! have a happy holiday!
So if you take a look inside the case the motherboard is an Asrock B760M-C/D4 it shows there should be enough SATA connectors, you'll also need SATA power for the drive as well. Not sure if there's an extra power cable off the power supply, if not you may need to purchase a SATA power splitter cable and a SATA cable from motherboard to drive. You may want to download the manual directly from Asrock's website too. Hopefully, this points you in the right direction.
Yes, but with a caveat. If you want to use the drive for storing ProRes/Log video, then you cannot put a password on the drive. It will not recognize. If you password protect it APFS with password, then yes. You can plug it in, open the Files app, then Browse, then it will ask you to "Authenticate" which just means type your password. Boom, you're in and using it like a regular external drive connected to a computer. Hope this helps, I literally just tried this now to confirm.
Good Morning Mom and Dad! I've had the 15 Pro for about 6 months. Pretty cool phone. No problems so far. I do the 80% charge thing and still at 100% after 83 cycle counts! You two have a great day!
I've been an enthusiastic Panera customer since 1999 or 2000. They've gone to Hell. Prices have increased by 30, 50 and even 100%! I joined the SIP club at $8.99. When I was going to be out of the US for 4 months, I looked to suspend the subscription for the duration. No option for that. So I cancelled to rejoin when I returned. By the time I got back the price became $13! I signed up anyway. All of a sudden, they started tapping my card a day or two earlier each month. I wrote them and got weird AI-type responses that only half-related to what I wrote to them about. When my card was expiring previous to the beginning month billing date, I waited to see what they'd do. A full six days in advance of the billing date, I got email telling my they couldn't bill my billing method. I wrote back about this chiseling via the billing date. The response was again not related to what I wrote about. I let it slide, let my SIP be cancelled and reduced my visits and purchases at Panera. Then came an email offering 3-months of free SIP club and allowed me to choose my payment method for after the freebie period ended. They offered that could be by their gift cards, which I have a few. So I accepted and entered the details for the gift card. As the date approached, I was going to cancel, but "mysteriously" I got an error message each time I tried to login to my Panera account. Again I wrote them about that and got responses that didn't really relate to what I wrote about. Then they offered up a "half-price $7.50 per month" for 3-months. I wrote them to tell them that I would avail myself of that, but I couldn't since I couldn't login to my account to make it happen. Again I got some nonsense response telling me to delete my "browser history". I told them I wouldn't and expected that the worst that would happen is they'd tap the gift card for a month at the now almost $16 per month rate. Nope. They managed to tap my original bank card without the current CVV security number or expiration date for $15+ despite a complaint in progress about not being about my not being able to access my account to effectuate the $7.50 per month offered they emailed to me. I wrote back that they were not authorized to tap my bank card and I wanted a refund for that. I got a stock letter back that appears like this is some sort of scam they are pulling on a lot of customers. Part of it says they don't do refunds, but they will give me this $20 credit on my account for one purchase on one day and that they've cancelled my SIP Club. I don't trust Panera anymore. I think I'm going to have to cancel my bank card as the bank tells me that once you sign up with these subscription schemes, the place you subscribe to can come back and go on draining your account until you can effectuate the cancellation via their site. You can guess I've pretty well had it with Panera. A piddley $20 meal is definitely not going to bring me back. I regret telling both friends and strangers about the SIP Club. I will make every effort to spread the word to warn them of the scam and to get out before they get suckered for even more.
Good morning! I am also from the PNW and I had a boss who was from Cali and it was a ritual when we went to our trade convention in Vegas that the first day he would drag us to that exact In N Out Burger. Wish we had them here. You get around!
Funny you say, our friend who moved from the PNW to Vegas is from California and loves In N Out. Ridgefield, WA is a future In N Out, but maybe 2025/26… we’ll see.
great review, thanks! I'm about to buy one, but I'm a little worried about the PWM. How are your eyes? Do you get tired or dry eyes after using it? Many people complain about screen discomfort, headaches etc
Great question and thank you for the kind words! So I’ve used the 11 and 13 extensively, particularly the 13 every day for at least a couple hours. No issues with headaches, no discomfort (if I manually turn down the brightness in a dark room), and no problems with fatigue. I’m not rubbing my eyes or anything like that. It’s been totally fine with me, but you may have a different experience. I’d suggest you buy directly from Apple or Bbuy, somewhere with a no hassle return in case you have issues. Have a nice weekend and hope you find/like your new iPad.
So this may be not be for everybody, but unless it's a stainless or an ultra apple watch (both of which have a sapphire crystal display) I will put a screen protector on it. I like the clear tempered glass or clear PET plastic film. Both of which I'm sure degrade the original image quality but not to my eye. My thought is I do not want to scratch such an expensive item. Also, I don't use a screen protector on a MacBook because I don't touch the screen. But I'm also careful not to touch the screen. Hope this helps and thanks for the questions!
I got this computer but can't run exe files like epic games launcher because I get blocked from running them and windows security pop up screen doesn't show up for me and it's only blank smh
Looking back on it now fronts were 40-50% judging by the amount the piston compressed. And it was done in the dark because, well, telling my mom to get there early is a bit of a challenge… I was just picking my batles😉
I always use a trackpad and palm rest cover, I just haven't found a good one yet for this color. It just prevents the palm rest and trackpad from showing wear. I remove it when trading in or selling. The computer looks brand new minus the oil wear on the keyboard. I see the midnight color readily available on amazon.
Working well do far. My son is using it to stream games via OBS/capture card. Just added a usb c port via motherboard connector and rear port. Getting ready to make a video on that. So far, good quality parts. Minus customer service telling me they use a generic picture and it doesn’t have a usb c port, it’s been just fine. All games he plays at 1080p are smooth with high settings.
@momanddadmeetworld That's really great to hear, as far as the minor issues would you recommend this pc as starter? Or could I get something abit better
@@The_Bearded_Warrior It depends, we got this as a starter for 699 during prime days, for the price it is fair. This was a good value for the price, but if you're spending $1k on up, then you can get a higher specd video card, just depends where you look. I also check bbuy open box especially during sales. Sale price plus the open box discount on the sale price make it a good deal too.
Thanks you for the informative video. But Apple advices not to use a clear case as it damages the hinges and makes them wear out quickly. Rather get a sleeve bag to put it in.
Yes, the USBs and gigabit ethernet port work. Keep in mind that this will be USB 2.0 speeds because of the age of the Thunderbolt Display. As long as the drives are formatted, yes, they'll show up in the Files app.
From the articles I've read, it looks like all CPUs. According to Intel, motherboard manufacturers are giving the CPU too much power. But it sounds like Intel is extending warranties for all the CPUs affected. I originally thought it was only the core i7 and i9 13th and 14th gen, but it's all from what I last read.
@momanddadmeetworld Are you planning on getting a new CPU for this PC? Or are you gonna play the CPU lottery and hope you didn't get a defective CPU. That's what I'm doing right now lol, since I have the i5 13400f and i dont want to upgrade to another Intel chip or switch to AMD as that requires a whole new mobo and reinstalling windows. So far my pre built never had a problem with this CPU and I had it since April 2024 Edit: after more research, people are a saying only CPUs with the raptor lake architecture is affected by it, and the i5 13400f can come in both raptor lake architecture or alder lake. 12th gen CPUs used alder lake architecture and people are saying the i5 13400f is basically a 12th gen rebranded. i5 13400f do come in raptor lake but they are a bit more rare and harder to come by. So the vast majority of people should be using alder lake architecture, which is safe, according to alot of people on reddit lol. I got conflicting answers but all I know is my CPU seems to be doing good as no problems have risen
@@wholelottagangshid I'll be keeping the CPU. These CPUs are pretty pricey. No issues yet and thinking that if you haven't had any issues arise, then you'll be good too.
