Just wanted to ask if this machine would be useful for cutting patterns into cards such as wedding invites etc. So if wanted a pattern on half the card would this work?
Just finished making a ‘Tudor’ fire place surrounded and just came to a halt because most grates on eBay and such were just too small. This way I can custom make so I’m so pleased to have come across you and this simple but perfect answer. Also had an epiphany whilst dozing after a bug, for the same Tudor fireplace I needed a stone base and yippee thought very fine grain sandpaper which all miniaturists have would do the job . Can’t wait to get going so thank you so much.
Hi Sue, thank you for sharing this video with us. The information you gave us was great and easy to follow. I hope you don't mind me saying this but there were a couple of problems in the video that made it difficult to see what you were trying to show us. When you started putting the chair together your hands blocked our view of what you were doing, and when you picked things up off your cutting mat we couldn't see them because they were out of the shot. Is there any way you could make another video about the same topic? I bought a 1:24 scale armchair in kit form, along with some other 1/2 scale furniture kits from a shop here in Melbourne, Australia. I wasn't sure how to upholster the armchair and I was worried that I'd get it wrong, but in the end I just did it, and it actually looks good!! LOL!! 😅 I was lucky enough to find some lovely navy cotton fabric on the Temu app, with a small enough print on it to use on a 1/2 scale chair without looking ridiculous, so I used it to cover the armchair, and one thing I learned from this is that printed fabric is very forgiving! I made a mistake when I covered the front of the armchair with the printed fabric, by cutting it a bit too small, so I ended up with a little gap where the batting wasn't covered by the fabric (I should have made a pattern first out of tracing paper, and next time I will!) But I patched the area that was not covered with a tiny piece of the fabric and you can't even see the mistake because of the patterned fabric. If you make a mistake when upholstering a miniature armchair, you can often cover it by making a little cushion and gluing it over the mistake, or, if it's not in the right place for covering it with a cushion, you can often cover it with trim. There's usually a way to fix things, and no one will ever know!! 😉❤ I made a little footstool to go with the armchair - out of some left over basswood pieces - and the same fabric. I've only just started making miniatures, but it's so much fun. I've subscribed to your channel and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Do you make 1:12 scale miniatures as well? Cheers Sue, from Amanda Jones in Melbourne
Thank you for this video. I am hoping I will be able to put two needles back in their place on my Empisal Mini. I can’t even figure out how to push back the retaining bar. 🤦♀️
I’m sure you’ll be able to do it. Just be careful when you pick the machine up, especially if you have loosened off t both the metal rods at the side of the machine, the needles will all drop out, Hopefully you’ll see how I put the needles back in by pulling the retaining rod out, if only changing the needle don’t pull both the rods out like I did, just pull it out as far as you need to go past the defective needle
Absolutely fantastic tutorial - I was gifted one of these a couple of weeks ago (May 2024). It is called an 'Empisol Instant'. Your instuctions were easy to follow and it is now back in working condition, hopefully - many thanks - Z
Susan, I love the dollhouse. I am like you, my friend- when I am busy crafting a doll house the dinner does not get cooked, the dog does not get fed, the house does not get cleaned nor does the phone get answered if it rings- just leave a message. I 'll get back to you in a couple of weeks. (ja, ja) On You Tube do you ever watch "Dollhouse Beautiful"? I love the designing and crafting of doll houses. My favorite rooms in your house are the dining room and kitchen. I love it!!! I can see myself eating breakfast at your island and having tea at the dining room table. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful.. I’m still using it at my caravan it’s working fine .. but it’s not my main washing machine I have another small washing machine which I use, I use this as my spin dryer it’s good just for that alone… The other day I did some washing I couldn’t be bothered to get it out so hung my washing out ringing wet, it took two days to dry, if I’d of used this, I would’ve got my clothes dry in a day
Dear Susan, could you tell me why there are two holes in the bottom of the tub? One at the end of the tub, another at the side of the tub. I see that what is on the side of the tub is where the used water flows out. I don't know what the other one is for. I ordered this tub, but I can only use it in the basement, where there is no drainage channel, only the sump pump. If I were to extend the white tube belonging to the tub, it might be a solution.
@@166sue Thank you very much for your answer, I understand now. I'm an old woman and so far I've only sat in the tub without water to test how comfortable it is. Unfortunately, I couldn't get up from it, my husband had to pull me out of the tub. 🙂
Wouldn't it be better to spin before rinsing as well so as much of the wash water is removed first? I have just purchased a similar machine to use in my caravan
Hopefully you received my email.. I always thought I’d sold this machine, but today I found it complete with software. Get intouch again see what we can do. Regards, Sue
@@166sue I have no words to thank you, it really is people like you that the world needs! gained another fan, from the UK, to Brazil and the world! Gratitude Sue! ❤️
Olá me chamo Ailton e gostaria, de saber se vc poderia me disponibilizar uma cópia do sistema 3d embrodery intro, pois perdi o cd e estou com a máquina parada e sem uso, se vc puder me ajudar ficarei imensamente grato.
Your wall lamps are VERY Cute! As an alternative to soldering the wires after they've been twisted you can coat each connection with clear silicone adhesive or E6000 or electrical tape.
I bought one of these 5 years ago,and fitted it to the bathroom taps and it has never leaked or come off the taps The restraining straps are not velcro as in this video they're like half inch wide zip ties and they are effective I took the straps off to clean the plastic fitment up and the hot tap where it's been fitted has lost most of its Chrome finish but not the cold tap,so thats the only downside to leaving the shower attached permanently
Thanks for this, ive been thinking of buying one but some reviews r gd some bad, but you have the same taps as me so it makes me more confident to buy it, and id be leaving mine on my bath taps.
