Oasis is and will be iconic because of Liam and Liam alone. Noel has about as much use as the lads on the drums… just a part of the band. You wouldn’t go see queen if Freddie wasn’t performing…
I love this concert! Ever since Noel went solo he's grown as a musician and he should've went solo then. For a few years and maybe came back after Liam got his shit together. The third Oasis album would have been better!
The Oasis MTV Unplugged is an absolute gem for most Oasis fans. Liam's loss was Noel's gain, and he nailed. Noel claims he couldn't sing til 2005. I beg to differ.
Noel’s right, he didn’t become a proper singer until the Dont Believe The Truth recording sessions. He sounded as good as Liam on that record and anything else after that.
I remember this. Didn’t have Sky TV at the time so asked my nan if she’d record it for me on video tap. Remember watching it and really liked the acoustic Noel versions of the songs.
I love it the way it is but at the same time I wish so badly we would have gotten this with Liam's voice in his prime too. Aren't there more bootlegs of that rehearsal? Damn!
This was the gig that led me to Noel's more introspective and emotional voice being preferable to Liam's rasp, all my favourite versions of Oasis song's have Noel mon vocals
I own the J& M coffee. I’ll get it open anytime, over 62 rooms and a 7 thousands square feet nightclub too plus the best bakery where the pool’s table are…. See you soon at the JM

a close friend and former bandmate of mine had a Brother who was a DJ at a radio station near WV. and R.E.O was playing near so Gary came into the studio to so an interview and to plug the album and the show. My friends Brother said Gary was a really nice guy, no ego and just really down to earth.
I would suggest, "A sound Garden" on the NOAA campus and next to the Warren G. Magnuson Park. It's a unique sound sculpture featuring 12 21ft towers with organ pipes welded at the top, when the wind blows they make a sound. It inspired the band name of Soundgarden and also serves as a memorial to Chris Cornell. You might notice Soundgarden's logo shows 12 towers circling a triangle. Public access is monitored and restricted but can be seen from the neighboring Dog park. A very peaceful place near the shores of Lake Washington.
To whomever made this video, at the end, where the referee is making the announcement about penalizing the defense, do you realize that was from footage from a Jets Lions Game in the Silverdome (I believe last game in 1991 with playoff consequences and Barry Sanders Eclipsing 2,000 Yards). Look up "Jets Lions Noise"....With all the noise in the Kingdome, we couldn't find REAL Footage from one of their games...Falcons 1985, Raiders/Broncos Games Numerous Times Games in the 1980's were stopped...Kind of weird we pick up footage from a game the Seahawks were not a part of....
Unless you saw Marino actually play, it’s hard to fully appreciate how great of a pure passer he was. Had one of the fastest releases ever and could throw with pinpoint accuracy. He was two decades ahead of his time!
Ugh, ripped off video that's vague on some details and just wrong in some assumptions. Better off getting the story from the band members directly, in particular Stewart Copeland's interview with Rick Beato. So much better than this turd of a production.
