We are a family of travellers that cannot stay in place for more than a few days. Follow us while we visit and explore. Currently in Jamaica, who knows where our next adventure will be!
Thank you for this upload, very informative. My husband and I are considering booking here. He is concerned that the open area might allow for unwanted wildlife to enter the room. I really want to go. It's exceptionally beautiful. I reminds me of Hammock Cove in Antigua.
Hi there, me and my family will be staying at this resort in August. Did you take those life vest and floaties with you or did the resort provide them for you?
I enjoyed your video...especially because I spend alot of time in that area and I am always driving by that hotel but never stayed. I have a property closer to the Blue Lagoon area which is home away from home for me and its a struggle to decide whether I am going to be on Grace Beach on Provo island in Turks or head home to Portland. One of the best things about your video was the dog...he looks just like my dogs in Portland....brought a smile to my face.😊😊
we're also considering the dutch swim up. We are amazed how little distance you need to travel from the room to the pool, and then to the beach. And the sunset moments... magical.
I’m trying to decide between this resort and the more affordable Holiday Inn resort in Montego Bay. Would you say this is worth the money? It’s about 3k difference in the two
I know this has nothing to do with this video but I need to steal some of the light, Alright so question. I am staying in Port Antonio airbnb for about a month, I been want that Jungle waterfall beach vibe. I been watching shows like food boss, ace, ras kitchen, chucky freelance and soai vlogs and I just realized you're all black, Im Mexican im from L.A. Im going to stand out like none other huh?? Im watching these videos and it just dawned on me i do well traveling South America and Asia because i can blend in....this gonna be my first time not blending in. How safe am I is it a locals only vibe or we love tourists vibe? I cant tell from most of these walking videos. I hate resorts and Port antonio seemed like a great launching area for adventures
There is no easy answer to your question. Safety is a very relative concept and its neither “local only” or “we love tourist”. It’s definitely a case of it depends where and when. At the moment, many Parishes are under SOE (state of emergency) but Portland isn’t but i would expect some Police/military road blocks. Overall, use cautions, asked around before making a trip and keep in mind situation can change quickly. Portland is beautiful to explore. Make sure to go snorkel at San San beach: not touristy at all and probably the best snorkeling in Jamaica
@@Wandering_Hither_and_Yon wow I need to google the state of emergency, I would actually feel better with Road Blocks if they are police and not Cartel type road blocks. As for Snorkeling yes i knew that funny I googled best place to Snorkel in portland and San San came up every time. THank you for answering, ive been watching too many videos maybe talking myself out of the trip.

Hi Alex! I know your information is a bit on the older side, but I’m having a hard time finding out about royal tots program. In your experience, were they good about handling diaper changes and snacks? Also was a easy to obtain the hours that you desired?
Diaper changes was not an issue. I do not remember anything specific about snacks, but the service was very professional. We had to book the hours asap when we boarded the ship in order to have the time slots we wanted as peak time seemed to book. Once again, all of that was pre-covid so i do not know how it would apply now
We have a 14 month old who will be going on the ship with us , I know they have the Royal tots and baby nursery space. But can they explore other areas as well with mom and dad, like the one up? (I think thats adventure ocean?)
My experience is a bit dated now but I do not think so. And I am not sure it would be adapted to little ones particularly with a bunch of older kids running around hehe
Hello thanks for the question! Note that my information is now 3 years old! At the time of our cruise, the young ones had access to a play room for free but had to be with their parents. To leave your baby with a staff member was extra and required reservation.
Thanks for sharing your review of this cabin. Was there a divided bathroom with a toilet and sink and then another with a shower/tub and sink? Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience! Have a Happy 4th of July!
@@Wandering_Hither_and_Yon Thanks for responding! I am trying to decide on a hotel for my family. 2 kids, age 3 and 6. I see you have been to a few in Jamaica. Beaches is probably the best?? but which other one do you suggest? Thanks!
@@busolami1 I have been to Beaches In Ocho Rios and Negril. I think they are both great and yes, probably one of the best overall. The rooms in Negril are not great and the Ocho Rios is built in a way that there are stairs everywhere. It’s hard with a stroller. My favourite so far would be Hilton Rose Hall. We have been a couple times now and the service is always great, food is one of the best in Jamaica and you can find great prices. My video for Beaches Ocho Rios will be up in a week!
Thanks again Alex!! Hilton looks like a great property. I wanted to comment on your RUI ocho rios video but comments are turned off. How did you like that one. Looks like fun for the kiddos. Now deciding between Hilton and RUI ocho rios
@@busolami1 between those two, the only reason to chose RIU would be price. Otherwise, food, installations and service is better at Hilton. Well, the waterpark may be a bit better at riu if you prefer slides to a lazy river. But if the quality of the food is important to you, then the Hilton is the way to go.
I mean true. I have been one 2 of them oasis and harmony and in a month I'm going on allure but honestly they are like the same exact size like the allure is 50 millimeters longer than oasis like you dont notist any size difference so they are like all the largest cruise ships in the world
