I know this song came out in 1989 or 1990. I must have heard this song on and off at least seven times on CME. But one morning I had awoken sleeping on the couch to this song. I remember as a child unconsciously believing in God but really only like a fable or story. I thought Jesus was just a creative story. But awakening to this song on the 8th Day to this song circa 1992 was the day I realized Jesus was real. He is Alive. Thank you, Dolly. ❤
@@stephharris907 I talked with Dolly, and I told her that Emmylou and Dolly could sing over Linda Ronstadt to bring her the gift of healing. These woman sing of the Holy Spirit. These three women are heavenly trio. I believe country women are set by God to bring healing to this world. ❤

I actually never understood what was so impressive about her. She wasn’t anything great in my opinion. I was never Impressed with her or her acting abilities. They weren’t all that impressive to me. She was mediocre imo. I thought there were far more better actress than her before during and after she was gone. She was bland nothing she did that I ever saw stood out and screamed I am a fabulous actress!! I never understood why people fawned all over her! She was mediocre at best and not that beautiful either.

Just wanted to share that Dolly Parton did not write this song. It was written by Don Francisco. Dolly’s version of this song is amazing and always moves me to tears.
