this guy should have been acclaimed as was Robert Merrill and Leonard Warren who congratulated him backstage after his debut in 1955 , they were so impressed with his singing! www.youtube.com/
If Markman has played Jesse Norman he knows damned well this guy is not going to be acclaimed anywhere near as her or a white male in this area. If this were to have been so then th
I've been watching Limmie for some time now. He has grown into a confident professional and a damn good entertainer. Bravo. Would like to hear him in a recital of arias and classical songs just for fun.
Hi, Good playing of yours.... If the best of contemporary music does interest you, have a look and an ear to Pierre Meroeur pieces for guitar at the following address : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9_k0hTKf2p8.html
I always imagined this as a stepping stone towards Lutoslawski's mature style beginning with the Cello Concerto. Personally, I don't like it, it lacks the grace of his music both before and after. However, it it remains a cornerstone of 20C chamber music. The quicker tempo helps it, I think. I guess I've always wanted "Lutoslawski's First" to be "Bartok's Seventh" and I'll always remain disappointed.
Really enjoyed this Jason. I will see you tommorow at the Eccles Center in salt Lake City. Very much looking foreward to it. I love to play and have been inspired by your playing for some time.
