One question regarding your pedal, as you use the Demon XR. Is there a way to somewhat adjust how the beater surface hits the head? I've read that you can't change the angle of the beater surface - can you at least change the distance between pedal and bass drum hoop? Would really suck if it doesn't fit my bass drum and always hits with the edge...
@Anomaly92 this is pretty much the only thing I dislike about this pedal. There's no way to change it!! For such an expensive pedal they really should have built in a way to adjust that
@@naveen2650 Oh man, that's really annoying and almost a deal breaker. :/ So I have to get different beaters in case I am unlucky enough to not have the perfectly sized bassdrum.
As someone else has asked, what is the band on the left hand and what grip is that? At 32 seconds your left hand is rolled over like nothing I've ever seen. Thanks.
Hi dude , How good are the Pedals iyo ? Have you tried something like Trick or Pearl's Demon Drive ? Where I am it's nearly 2 g's $1800 I think for the XR Double. Can you tell me a little bout it ? Cheers bro. 🥁
@@naveen2650 Hi mate , How are XR's going ? Are they as good as the day you got them ? Man you play some fast doubles on those pedals ! Yeah "so how long have you had the XR now mate & are they holding up ok still ?
There's also something called "Moises" which works extremely well with muting certain sounds and separating drums from voices, etc. It's free but you have to sign up... i use it a lot to try and hear the words in their tracks that don't have lyrics...
Need to have more time to re-convert one of my acoustic kits into an e-kit but for now this is my kit: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8aaWg0iHOwM.html
Here's a video named A "Proper" Explanation Of Drum Triggers by RU-vidr 66Samus. I think it should answer your question better than if I tried to explain it with text. It tells you what triggers are, how they work and what you can do with them outside of what people generally use them for. Cheers from France! 🍻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M1ltJAdQHKc.htmlsi=AuaEFmstakZ8jR-S
Triggers turn vibrations into electronic signals that you can relay through a module to produce a sound. There's lots of videos on RU-vid that explain what a drum trigger is. Personally I like the one by samus.
In metal(or any other music)if you want consistent even hits and not some hits louder than others, use a trigger. Very effective on double bass kicks. Great setup mate!
