@@andrewthomas7863 Thanks for your comment Andrew, this video was more to help people understand the difference methods used and my way of doing too !! Hope it helped you on your journey in the industry.
Hello mate, i have a pack back but with the standard water pump why should i change it to the chemical pump? Tia Joe p.s my spray nozzles just arrived thanks.
@@GotskinsDo you have the battery cables the correct way ? If you have them the wrong way round the controller will not come on due to the reverse polarity protection ?
@dacomponents eventually got it sorted ..the battery was the problem! Faze tester was telling me it had power but turned out not much ! Battery 4years old so should have known🤦♂️
Hello there, NEED HELP!!! Im building a house in ireland for myself. All direct labour subbing it out myself. Spent 30K on windows in january. Plasteres came and did a fine job but when they left 4 week ago ever since there is white specaled layer on most of windows, some are very bad. I got in a window cleaner but he couldnt budge it, i got a descaler spray with acid in it and wont budge it. The only thing that has worked on 1 or 2 windows iv tried is using a window blade scraper but i scratched a couple of windows so i stopped using it. I can hear and feel the grit coming off windows using the window scraper so it needs somthing less likely to scratch but still rough enough to lift it. Will the bronze fine grade wool pads scratch the windows if i us it. Im very worried i wont be able to get off giving the fact i soent 30k on my windows.
Hiya I don’t recommend any scrub pads on builders cleans as there is a risk of plaster etc being caught between the scrub pad and the glass causing scratches. I usually use a scraper with a brand-new blade every time and plenty of water and only move in one direction. I use the Trim 10+1 scraper from Unger, or you might find the Pro trim 10 is as good. You will go through a lot of blades, and it takes ages as you do need to be super careful. A product I have had success with in the past is “Cement Off” (please read all instructions before use!). You could give that a try too if you haven’t already. Hope this helps.
@@dacomponents bi i was using the unger blade and i scratched forst 2 windows i did. I was using new blades but maybe i wasnt careful enough. I will try the brass pad. Its ultra fine and manufacturer says it dosnt scratch glass. I tested it out on 1 yesterfay and didnt seem to scratch
This is great for cleaning high reach Solar panels with 40 plus feet carbon fiber poles , due to the weight of this tool it is great for such situations.... ... At height and at working at slight angles you need scrubbing power and lightness ..... I have a 50 plus foot gardiner pole and when it is fully extended any weight at the top makes it extremely difficult to control !.... This means using a sola tecs C or Rotaqleen or any heavy brush is really stressful and hard work and near impossible to work at any angle other than perfectly vertical ... Each tool has its place and this is also a useful tool for the scenario i explained at the beginning.
Great brush, love the swivel for awkward areas & I made it onto the video at 1:02 receiving my goody bag. Ordered some more bits this week too, thanks Darren.
Got my edge 26 cm brush with rinse bar. This is the best brush ever I have. Rinse bar is top notch. Had before many brushes from diferent brand and equipments but this one is really pleasure to clean windows. Powerful rinsbar A+++++
I wonder if you could point me in the right direction Darren,I am looking the lightest pole on the market with the water pipe going up through the pole and perhaps a on/off switch for water supply. Have a pole but to heavy now as I went through heart surgery a year ago Thanks, also where do I get these brushes like the spray on them Thanks
Hi Kevin it’s down to personal preference imho , for maintenance cleans we have it on 25 with the 35 brush on the standard v-jets ! But have a play about to see what suites you .
Never used one myself but in the US they’re popular because the boars hair clings to the glass and cleans very well. These look absolutely ace Darren 👏👍
I’m going to have to some more pennies to the show! Was looking at reach it & tucker brushes..but these look so much better, especially with the jet configurations! Quick question Darren..what’s the thought process with the hybrid..with the boars hair in middle and DuPont on outside (like most hybrid brushes), but I see some with the inverse (like unger)..boars hair outside and DuPont inside.. really want to try boars hair, hesitant to go full boars hair..so hybrid makes sense, but worried I won’t be able to get the boars hair to hit the outside edge of the glass. Cheers, Gary
Finally something new, innovative and USEFUL in the window cleaning world. Great stuff Darren, is this in collaboration with yourself or another company that you are stocking?
