I am a steam railway enthusiast, photographer and filmmaker, a Thomas the Tank Engine fan, and a massive Gerry Anderson fan - especially Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet.
I remember this when I was a little girl from Sting Ray... I'm 61 now. This brings back a few childhood memories. People used to sing this to me because my name is Maria... It's beautiful...!!! 😂
Downside of this posting: Didn't include the rousing opening theme and montage. Upside: Did not include the sappy closing song. Anderson wanted something for the teen viewers, I guess, but he did that better with the closing song of _Fireball XL5._
Yeah I remover hearing about this and I love telling people about it how the taw valley was to be the original hog warts express for the movies but was swamped for Alton hall as Taw valley look to modern for a steam train for the film.
I kinda wish she stayed here in the USA. The only British locomotive we currently have here is Dwight D Eisenhower, the A4 that's on display in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the National Railroad Museum.
Considering that "Mind Your Bike" and "Fish" from Railway Series book No. 27 'Really Useful Engines' were both in the 4th season, I quite agree that this should've been a Season 4 episode.
I remember this show. Saturday morning cartoons 😂❤Stingray, Thunderbirds and Supercar. All in Super Marrionation. 😂😂😂 lo ed those shows. I was 10 some of the best toons were made in the mid 60s
Only just spotted this on YT! Thanks Ricky! One thing that puzzled me - at the beginning was supposedly the voice of Captain Magenta but I thought he had an Irish accent in the TV show?
Captain Magenta was voiced by Gary Files in the original TV series. However, in this audio story, he was voiced by Jeremy Wilkin, who voiced Captain Ochre.
Well done 😊 did you attend the SBFA concert in 2022? Genevieve Gaunt and Jon Culshaw covered it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tdvBie3dTL4.htmlfeature=shared
0:08 Me: (if I was in James's position) Gordon can be such a show-off, just because he pulls the Wild Nor'Wester, he doesn't have to say that (mocking Gordon) Express Coming Through. 0:17 Gordon: I heard that, Elijah, and I don't know whether to be cross or impressed.
Hi there, Rick, I am planning to have the stories of Skarloey's season 9 personal as well as from the Magic Spell, Wharf and Peace and Silly Skarloey during Skarloey's younger days in my Thomas canon.
