My least favourite match app is Axl and Bridget. I can get behind many fast players as I play a literal bed, once I got my teeth kicked in by one really good Chipp player and although I literally burned on the inside while in fight, after it i felt as if nothing happened. That Chipp player just knows how to play and I’m not so experienced. I could be chill about Axl and him beating every screw out of my bed. But I just can’t play with Bridget. I don’t like Bridget’s moves. Even though there are a lot similar characters that plays fairly familiar to Bridget, I still only manifest all of my anger when play against Bridget. I don’t know about transfobia part tho, for me characters are characters and I honestly don’t care who are they if their backstory and story is fitting and enjoyable. Also in my country there also very strict policy against trans people and sadly for me, I was raised and thought by my mother that these people just people who was born a little bit different and that’s all, so I actually don’t find in me hate or fear for them, but I’m also know that I will never would actually understand their problems and struggles and will not feel bad about it. I am an asshole, but not because I hate some people, I just don’t care about most of the people. I will be polite, I will try to help if I see someone who needs help, but I honestly do it because I *think* that’s right and that’s all.

I can only play XXAC+R since my laptop is so shit, but I'm a Faust main in that game, and all the things you said were true 😭 (except for frame data, have yet to learn that). I keep talking about Faust, and once I infodumped about something for like 2-3 hours. Don't fuck with us Faust mains we're autistic

I feel slightly called out since I use to be a Faust main who despised the Ram matchup. Now that I main Leo I don’t mind the Ram matchup and now think the at all I have to do is bait and punish. However now I absolutely despise the Pot matchup since switching.
I absolutely love playing Bridget and she’s the whole reason why I got into guilty gear. I love that i have a character I can relate to, not only because she’s trans, but also the way she figures it all out. I had a hard time figuring it out myself and it was confusing at times. She’s also just genuinely good representation
I just know that Pot doesn't counter my character, he counters me. And that hurts so much more. Also, as the stereotypical trans Bridget player... Yes, I may or may not have picked up the game because of her. Your segment about her was so incredibly beautiful! If anyone here is struggling with online hate or anything, I'll say this: You are valid, you are beautiful and you are respected.
