It's not my exact perfect track to listen to but i'm always drawn to it because it's in a weird time signature (take most the Risk of Rain ost for example) and that's really appealing to me for some reason this shit bangs hard
me and my friends just beat our first campaign. because of time constraints (friendgroup mixed of americans/ europeans/austrailians) it was difficult to find time for sessions. i think the wait to hear this was worth it
dude if i was sitting there instead of that guy with a receeding hairline that woman would be scattered all over the city (the robot cook doesnt forgive)
Wish I can hear this again for some reason my game downgraded to 9.3.3 so I’m stuck with the dangerous and scary baby moloch’s and lethal mudraptors and wonky physics and getting teleported cause a Charybdis hit the wrong side of the sub
Yes I have rigged the captains quarters to explode at the push of a button, no I don't care if it'll end up killing me, that nerd shoulda raised my pay
really good at making me feel tense but damn did this ruin the surprise for me, have to play without volume on so i can actually be surprised when i hear a monster nearby
I've never actually listened to this song prior of now, and originally thought it to be bad. Listening to it now I realize that this is actually really good.
The first time I heard this track I was chilling on the station, selling loot, enjoying new music... when I learned that my grandpa died... and this feels so weirdly fitting.
for me it's the music for ambitious dreams, for guesses what lays beyond and what awaits you in the future (Even the name "Marching Upstream" hints that this is some kind of motivational music). I'm sorry for your loss
Carl Sagan called Voyager “a bottle cast into a cosmic ocean.” The records contain human greetings in sixty-one languages, chanting, sounds of nature, and music, including the song of a humpback whale.
Eliminating Jove in literal single mode was hell, even though I had plenty of resources. I came out of the fight with so much adrenaline when I won (on the 20th attempt) that it made me want to smoke a cigarette XD.
I remember when i was new to the game and was playing with my friends. I was doing some repairings, and this music played in the background, made me fall in love with baro.
This song played for me during the second training scenario (the one in which you learn about the roles and their gameplay mechanics). Felt very fitting, especially after the first tutorial. The first tutorial was “Here’s the horrors that await you” while the second one was “Here’s the sailors who have to work together to defeat the horrors”.
