It was the clutch linkage. The only thing that holds a mack cab on.and when you bend your clutch linkage on your d model mack cause the cab is falling off then they get exported
So I race at New Smyrna in The Spectator drags with big gravy, I wasn't at this event because I was on a vacation elsewhere. But I have talked with him and have been hearing about the progress on the car. So big gravy's mustang is currently in the body shop and will be back for the event at the end of September. I won't say how much it cost for him to fix it, if he wants to share that info he can obviously. But it is getting fixed and they basically had to cut away the entire left side of the car. The black mustang in the finals is a 1995 GT, not a cobra. It has wide 315 toyo r888r tires and a lot of suspension work with some nitrous. Casey has been racing at that track for probably 30+ years. As far as what happened with the crash, big gravy has said that he thought the truck was much further back given the issues the truck was having and I'm not sure if he was in fact trying to go into the pit or just to drop down to the bottom of the track, but the truck composed itself and was coming like a freight train and big gravy didn't know he was going to be there when he dropped down, so he admitted that it was his fault but it was an accident obviously. The trouble the truck was having was with the clutch, it wasnt grabbing and was heavily slipping on the front straight.
Big Gravey - "Mistakes were made"! Got to change his name from "Big Gravey" to "Big Airbags ;)" It's awesome that he stuck with it, though, and picked up the W! Did it with one of my all time favorite cars! Hope he can get it back out there kick butt and taking names!
@@MaverickGamingVideos he’s got a great attitude .. I just noticed at the end he said he was his fault? But he’s def a crowd favorite, built a sick car, and he’s a heck of a driver That black “cobra” he raced is also a crowd fav, I love that car too, seen him win before as well, overall, some great racing!
Hey bud, love the channel, you mic needs to be adjusted, it only plays in the left ear. I live locally if you ever need help with your setup. Love the drags Saturday, hoping to have a car I can run next year!
@@MaverickGamingVideos hey!! Thanks a million for that info, I think I fixed it .. but your right, actually both my mic and video audio was only coming out one side , let’s see on the next video is! I may take you up on help with my setup though 👍🏾
Live 15minutes from seeking speedway..i have always wanted to race there, I finally can buy a car to race! Not sure what I'm getting yet, probably a camero or eclipse! Can't wait to beagle to go have fun there, granted I'm a bit nervous as I have never raced on a track.
yo, that would be awesome! any car is good, doesn't matter, just get out there and give it a shot and see if you like it..then start building a car up lol ...spectator drags this weekend at seekonk
@@spectatordragsusa7922 going to be in the crowd! First time listening, love the video, just an FYI your volume is only set to come through 1 ear causing the sound 5o be really low.
hey! owned it since new...simple setup...VF48, 850 dw's, 3" turbo back, grimmspeed tmic, walbro fuel pump, coilovers, and a ton of bracing...maybe even too much bracing..4/2 pot wrx calipers, HD clutch, light flywheel
@@spectatordragsusa7922 thanks for the info. Hey it’s fast! You were keeping up with that truck, and that truck is in the elite class at that track. I’ve seen it go up with the best and win sometimes.
Thanks for the kind words. I'll be the first to tell you the biggest problem my car has is the driver. I still haven't learned to launch this new setup. I'm using 275's so far instead of 315's because I lost some torque in this new build in order to pick up more hp...and its still roasting the tires off the line. I used to launch almost like an AWD car back in 2018...
Dude!!!! Thanks for the awesome video!!!! I actually had to race that blue iroc twice for the trophy AND $500!!!! Undefeated at Bethel Motor Speedway in NY!!!! 🏆 🏎️ 💨
Fun fact the Vega’s throttle got stuck revving 7K rpms at the track on the 25th of may and he didn’t wanna give it gas while racing cause the throttle might’ve gotten stuck while racing and he would’ve crashed into the wall but when he went into the pits the motor blew up
Oh well we have some MAJOR plans for the Vega and it’ll race in July and be WAY faster and after we do the modifications and wash and paint it then we could have an interview if you want
Yeah Jonny those were the head gaskets in question… Rob had holy water and he called carlito for inspiration!!! Carlito it’s always great to see you out there! Jenns first race they were calling her John Baker!!
Congrats on 103 subscribers! 2 days to seekonk and you genuinely should react to the seekonk Vega because it has crashed before not to bad but got the rims pretty messed up and it’s really fast still aswell
@@spectatordragsusa7922 actually I have a Vega race suggestion it’s an AMAZING race somewhat hard to find but it’s the Vega vs a 4th gen trans am driver is named fronz wydinger
@@spectatordragsusa7922 also the Vega might race on the 25th we ordered new tires that should be coming in the day before the race and if they do we can only see if they will let the Vega race cause it has no inspection sticker and needs a new windshield because of a crack but if the tire delivery gets delayed we aren’t bringing the Vega up there at all but I’m hoping that we are able to make it
So I actually am working on the 75 Vega with Andy (the driver) and we got her running last Saturday and did a small burnout and a major fishtail it was awsome can’t wait till you check it out
@@spectatordragsusa7922 the Vega was pretty slow back in the first like 3 years cause of a ba de fine and tires but he changed the tires and put a V8 small block
Hey I hear that the seekonk speedway Vega that raced in 2021 is currently get repaired to race again this year along with a fully custom body red Vega wagon that’s gonna be a twin turbo low compression V8 and it’s gonna race sometime and smoke everybody it races
The 1975 Chevy Vega that raced at seekonk during the multi lap shootout first ever he got a little loose and was (he said the distance) around 2 inches away from hitting the wall it was crazy, also he raced and beat a super car there which I still think is crazyru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4aLjg7cxaZQ.htmlfeature=shared (that’s a link to a video on my channel about the Vega vs Beamer go watch that if you want
great video! i have been racing a seekonk for 15 years an have had multiple races with john every race is always a battle.hes a great person an a badass driver.2024 season is gonna be insane look forward to the next video
Hey you should do a Chevy Vega video from seekonk Andrew Joseph in the 1975 Chevy Vega it’s a mean little Vega he raced back between 2015-2021 and he is gonna get the Vega up and running again and race it this year!
