I'm also intrested in the answer ;) I'm not sure, but it looks like photo printing is an advantage over HP T230. I'm a little bit worried about ink consumption. HP claims that their product is much more efficient, but it is only a marketing video ;)

I went through the Epson T2100 and HP T230 manuals. Epson has a "poster printing option" (just like in the video) and HP has nothing like it.

You are able to use it for photos as well, just this model T2100 (and T series from Epson in general) are 4 color pigment ink printers, for CAD/GIS, posters and large format color printing. For photo printing, fine-art, and high-end quality photos, Epson offer P series!

Poster printing usually means - lower quality, faster speed, more production, if compared with Photo printing. Yes, Epson has user friendly interface, to understand easy.
