My car was using coolant on long trips, and there was bubbles on the radiator, I didn’t have the money to change the head gasket rn soo I just found out about these sealer’s and bought the K seal, drained and clean the whole system put new coolant on it and the k seal, let it idle for 30 minutes, then let it cool for 3 hours, again idle for 30 minutes and cool for the rest of the night, about 10 hours, there’s no bubbles, doesn’t smell like coolant getting burned and doesn’t smell like gasoline on the reservoir.
After seeing video, went out and bought one,to be fair ,for the cash. Brilliant, £14 with spare foil, got to be worth a £10. See how long it will last with a lot of use.
These products generally never work. I have tried K-seal and Bark's Leak Stop. The reason being the extra ordinary pressure inside the engine. The pressure will never allow any residue to remain in the place of the leak unless it gets hardened immediately. It's the similar case when there is a leaking pipe. Unless the flow of the fluid is stopped before the application of the adhesive/epoxy the leak never stops
Are these much lighter than the corded ones... Also the corded ones have a screw to turn to adjust the motor if its noisy... Do these have the same feature.... Thanks for the review.. Much appreciated
Hello... may I ask a question? do you have to replace the cam follower, spring, knife holder from Wahl products before you change the blade from Wahl? or you still use the original kemeinya spare parts?
Your mechanic did diagnostics and didnt even check if it was possibly the gasket ? any skilled mechanic can do 2 simple tests to confirm a gasket leak. That smoke is oil burning, I can tell by the colour, its more bluish if oil and thick cloudy white when its coolant. Old BMW's are known to burn oil and they last a long time if you just keep things topped up.
@@dhalsim-1 yes, water and oil can get into the cylinders through the intake manifold. Only sure way to check for gasket failure is compression and leak down test. Those gas sniffers over the expansion tank are not 100% reliable. I've had much better results with Holts heavy duty gasket leak repair than K-seal.
You have oil mixing with your coolant, which means that your leak may be too big to fix, or you should have changed the coolant and oil first before attempting the seal
