many don't know it but during his Focus days Jan was chosen one year guitarist of the year above EC...he was just never into the huge flood light / public eye...he always felt more comfortable in smaller revenues...

I have been A guitar player for 50 years and never listend to this guy. Al DiMeola Mixed with Ronnie Montrose. Awesome sound, style, feeling, and musicianship. I will most definitely be checking out more of his music. Of course I loved hocus-pocus back in the day!
I will go to church anytime with Robert Randolph! I saw him about 7 years ago at Madison Ribberfest, and his band blew the concert out of this world! Rock on!
I always have loved Jan's playing....superb technically and with instinctive jazz melodies. There's a fresh, effortlessness to his expressive soloing which is masterful.

I had a chance to spend a few hours with Ian. Such a humble person. It was in Osijek Croatia, while Ian had a tour with Stefanovski. It was such a great time. After the show, Vlatko left to his hotel room, I wish that Vlatko joined the after party, but he was tired. He went, than two guitars, Ian and me, I tell you it can build you up high as a player. Thank you Ian, God bless you. You are a - m - a z -i -n -g. Guitar player and a man.
