@@Losjo4093 yes, it cost but depends on the country, but Lightroom mobile for Android and iOS is free with almost all its features and works pretty well too!
after i added this to the pc version of my avatar with the same id as the quest one it gave the vrclens shaders to the quest one even tho i didnt add vrclens to the quest version. I dont know how to fix it because now i cant upload it because it doesnt support the shaders. it makes my avatar 24mb. Havent added anything else in that time so idk what to do
@@Losjo4093 You must remove VRCLens from the Quest version, at the bottom of VRCLens menu on Unity, there's a button that says "remove VRCLens", that will remover everything related to VRCLens on your avatar
i came across vrclens a while ago, but not really sure what it did exactly, i wasnt sure if i needed it, but i have a friend who is a camera operator for the club at furality, he was telling me just how powerful it actually is, and now i am curious about it, especially becuase the vrc camera is much more limiting when you are a macro, especially when youre trying to use a drone shot
I super appreciate this video, i've been getting into photography for awhile now due to vrchat, and despite how long i've had vrclens for, I never went out of my way to learn all of the features properly, so this video was the perfect format to go through them, and now I know a little more about photography! Thanks a bunch.
a way i found doing motion blur is by using the 3D mode and apply gaussian blur (3px is usually enough) to just the right half of the created image and then merging the halves together with the blur half set to screen (15%) in krita, lightroom or gimp but yea… would be neat if it could be done by vrchat itself. applying a high manual focus on the vrccamera on top of the vrclens output also can give a nice gaussian/motion blur effect directly from the game.. but can be tricky as the vrc camera output doesn’t always render on top of the vrclens one.
Aperture also behaves differently based on sensor crop factor. As sensor size increases, the depth of field will decrease for a given aperture. F/2.8 on Full Frame is equivalent to F/2 on APS-C is equivalent to F/1.4 on M4/3. As for whether or not this is the same in VRCLens, I'm not sure, but I would assume so. It probably isn't *just* focal length.
Yes yes! I just made a quick explanation because I didn't thought it would be necessary dive into more stuff~ If you try the exact same picture just changing the "Sensor type" on VRCLens, the picture looks like the same, there's no difference~ Thanks for adding more information about it though! 💙💙💙
Thank you for this comparison! Noticed around 1:30 your vrc camera seems to be hovering above or attached to VRCLens. Have heard of this but never figured it out over the years.
I just added VRCLens with no issues in a new avatar with unity 2022 and the latest VRCLens version~ If you have issues adding it, check and re import the latest version of Poiyomi Shader and check if you are using the latest VRCSDK~
Hey can you help me idk what am doing and it doesn’t seem to work do I need to use 2019 version of unity to get it to work because I’ve tryed the 2022 one and it will not but when I load up the 2019 it says I need the new version of unity
Okay, so I’m trying to use the multi layered function on the vrc camera, and in the oculus photos it appears as transparent but the image with the player in it isn’t transparent when it syncs to the oculus mobile app. Does you know a way to make it transparent? (I’m on a meta quest 2 btw)
Brilliant video! I have a question regarding the VRCLens on desktop. It's perfectly functional except I can't actually shoot or take a photo. It shows me the mini display on the top right corner but I cannot get it to show up on the in-game camera to capture photo. Can you help me with this please? Thanks
i know this was nine months ago, but if there's any way you're still stuck on this or maybe someone else who comes across this is, make sure you 'reset' the vanilla vrchat camera to all defaults with the little reset button, if you change any of the 'visual' functions of the vanilla camera it kinda detaches from vrclens, sometimes it just needs a full world rejoin though, i've had it get stuck before
