I will forever miss Robin Williams humor! He was definitely one of the best! And proof that depression can kill! Maybe the pharmaceutical industry could come up with some medications that affect dopamine level and not just serotonin!!
If you didn't already know, this hilarious SCTV parody is based on the 1970 movie "Goin' Down the Road". Jayne Eastwood plays the same character in the movie too! And yes it's on RU-vid. 👍😁
Wondering what the writers were eating, drinking, and - most of all - smoking as they came up with this classic. Whatever it was, I'll have whatever they were having!
NIGEL in Canada🇨🇦 as a 🚛 truck driver I delivered to shmengies no sense of humor warts and black moles on their faces I keep thinking of Eugen and John to keep my sanity
breaking the 180 degree rule: when stan and yosh are sitting down, "talking to the people", they're shot separately and cut between in a way that makes you think stan is on the left, and yosh is on the right. then, they do that last wide shot where you can see them both and they're back to back in the middle on the opposite side you thought they were. i dunno how many people notice that or whose idea it was, but that was absolutely fantastic work. thank you.
Amazing stuff...so well crafted and always hilarious. Norm McDonald, Connan O'Brien and Andy Ricther would have a gay old time at the 3D House of Beef...lmao
Whats great is they're really playing! John loved playing drums as a hobby and Rick was a musician and played piano and as a guitar player, he is actually playing a right handed upside down guitar LEFT HANDED, loved all of these guys! RIP John
On the Provinces: The “G” in “GREAT” falls into Yukon, while “REAT” falls in the Northwest Territories (Nunavut wasn’t established until after SCTV came off the air) “WHITE” is on the 60th Parallel, dividing the Territories in the North and the Provinces in the South. The “O” in “NORTH” is in Alberta, the “R” is in Saskatchewan, the “T” is in Manitoba and the “H” is in Northwest Ontario. Thank you to coming to my unnecessary TED talk.
