According to the comments section either the judge was having an affair with the sheriffs underage daughter, or the sheriff was abusing his wife and daughter, and they were going to the judge for help. Once again, the internet has all the answers!
The Sheriff's daughter was a minor. The Judge had her phone # in his phone. There is more to this story.....(?) That Sheriff had to be extremely pissed off about something....to just go into an office and..........well You know.

That sheriff is a DRUG USER his demeanor during the arraignment stage and the delusion of somebody going to kidnap his family members is from methamphetamine, use paranoid, delusions, typical and stereotypical drug user body language it’s amazing how they fail to see this in their own
Who knows what knowledge the sheriff had of the judge behind closed doors. If there was anything fishy going on with the judge and his daughter , I can see why he'd do what he did. Somebody said , when this story first broke , that the ONLY way the sheriff would go to this extreme is over his kids.
What he doesn't get immunity? Guess that's only when they gun down unarmed citizens and children. Funny how the murder judges presumed guilty but not the sheriff. And how did he retire he should have been fired?
I take that, the cop wanted to be the judge that day. If that judge was doing what, anyone with a brain cell, thinks he was doing, it will come out. Give that father a promotion, and keep him as a judge. He will do a better job. Never mess around with a man's child, who carries a gun on his hip. That judge looked like a creep.
