Amazing job the master system did on porting the whole game over, even though it definetly dosent look this good. Its kn the pandora mames if anyone is interested.
In memory of my best friend Craig Terran, we used to play this at the Northglenn Mall in Northglenn, CO, must have spent a hundred or more dollars over the couple of years that we played it. Great memories from back in the 80's, RIP good buddy, it was a blast!
no ending? i dont think i ever cme across this in the arcade to my memory but i would have loved it, the NES counterpart was my second game i believe 🥰
Remember being blown away that a videogame could talk. I use to play this at "Food Barn" while my family shopped. Okay, I didn't play long. I was 6 and sucked. One guy took pity on me and paid for me to play with him... Well, he farmed points off of me.... Can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday but can vividly remember this.
I noticed that, so much grey. And the graphics quality varied quite a lot. Some areas the water is just flat floodfill of #0000ff blue, other areas it's quite pretty.
Looks and sounds closer to a Mega Drive imo. In fact, the Mega Drive was built around common arcade hardware (most notably, SEGA's own System 16 machine)
There were certain spots in each maze that you can just stand and fire away since the creatures were not programmed to come from behind you in that certain spot.
@@MarquisLeary34 All console versions had the advantage of coming after the arcade, so content's gonna be added. As far as overall game play I'm taking the arcade, plus the arcade had no cheat codes so u HAD to be good.
@@TeranIcer The difficulty curve was also absurd at points, because it's trying to get you to spend quarters. You also had to be good to beat the NES version without cheats, and the difficulty was more balanced. I still say the NES version was a rare case of the home version being better.
I loved this arcade game so much back in the 80s! I was inspired by the fantastic track "Outliers" by Droid Bishop so I turned "Wizard of Wor" into a funny music video where...the soldiers would escape from the labyrinth! ;-) Enjoy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mppALemRP4I.html
