The Sony seems to render the scene to slightly warmer tones than the Sigma? I thought the bokeh and sharpness were a hairs breath better in the Sigma IMHO?
I cannot guarantee this because I performed the test in variable external conditions but yes it looks slightly warmer and brighter. About the sharpness, it is IMO sharper.
Koniecznie!
Love to watch your videos! I’m going to Poland myself this summer with my Sony A7IV to capture the beautiful city’s. Any suggestions for a nice place to go to? Another quick question: which focus area do you use most? Keep on the good work!
Thanks man, it so good to hear that! You should definitely visit the Daszynskiego and ONZ roundabouts and everything around and between them. Gdanski and Swietokrzyski bridges. The old city. And we also have some cool subway stations. City center is very entertaining as well.
Your microphone is horrible. If you’re going to do this it’s got to get better. Your content is superficial and lacks necessary information and conclusions to justify your efforts.
Watched it, great video. You cleared my doubts as to whether I should use cpl or nd for these conditions. I think nd is a great option because I also like to shoot with the aperture wide open. f1.4
small differences that aren't the biggest deal, but green fringing @3:32 is kinda bad. only see it when zoomed so its whatever but id rather have the Sony in most cases.
Greetings 👋 what about the eye af from the Sigma? The Sony is very accurate…. I decided against the Sigma 24-70 art ii cause of eye af and Zooms aren't my choice as well. Will stay with primes for this time.
@@danielw.3888 it works fine in most cases, at least from my night pov street photo walks. It sometimes struggles in low light situations. But in general there is no issues with different types of AF.
I currently only use a 50mm F1.4 but was considering either upgrading to a 50mm F1.2 or getting the 28-45mm. I shoot street very similar to you and your video really showed exactly how the lens performs. Your video really convinced me to get it. I really love the 50mm and sometimes feel like it can be a little bit too tight sometimes but was afraid that the F1.8 would not be enough.
50/1.4 is still a very good lens. And in my opinion there is no big difference between F1.4 and F1.8 so this lens would be a great replacement. F1.2 is a bit different story because the bokeh shape is different thanks to the special number of blades used.
Good Review thanks 🙏 I orderd the Sigma and use it with my 7rv. I have one question. I register a warming of the camera. My screen is also on and within about 30-45 minutes the camera gets very warm. What are your experiences? The outside temperature is 32 degrees in Germany. The screen was not unfolded. I could not detect this heating on a Sony 35 1.4 gm. Thanks in Advance and Greetings 👋
Thanks! Nice gear you have there! About your question, I use both A7RV and this lens and I didn’t experience any issues. I had a photo session today during 31°C outside without cover and all good. Not sure if this is a lens issue.
@@eastbangerthanks for your very fast response. However, this makes me think now, because my camera became very warm after about 30-45 minutes and that without filming, just photographing. I was in manual mode and display permanently on. Hmm...? 😢
@@eastbanger okay 👍 mine didn't overheat und didn't switch off. Just noticed the heat underside and behind the screen. Was your screen permanently switched on? Sorry for asking and taking your time 🙏
Kit len for easy to use for beginer but the quality image not good, after few month you can buy 27mm F2.8 but you need the learning about aperture ( F4 is better) and focus ( i often use DMF mode and center focus )
I only have a problem With it not being able to lock .. if the zippers were modified to put in a padlock I would be cool to bring it around on my travels but because of this I’ve been sticking to using the bravo max ..
Hey bro, great video. Could u tell me what cam do you use in your chest, and which support? Do you use any microphone or is the audio from the chest cam?
Sometimes I watch videos like this and the photos look not good at all to me, sometimes it’s the editing, sometimes just the style. But this is really nice, nice pov cam, nice pictures and good editing, on top you use the same cheap camera that I have so this is really inspiring, keep it up!
Quiero comprar una cámara Sony A7iv y un lente sigma 24 70 f2.8 será un profesional cierto o el otro sigma 70 200 saludos 👋 espero su opinión bendiciones
Hey there, Sony A7IV + Sigma 24-70 will be a great combo for any kind of photography. You will be very satisfied. But remember it’s all about practice! Not gear but being open minded and understanding your possibilities and expectations 🤌
