Hi Dr. Kotler, how does Silikon 1000 hold up as the patient ages? I would like to use it on my nose but I am really worried about what it will look like or potential complications 50-60 years from now? I’ve seen some people needing to get it removed. In your experience, have you had patients that you did follow up with 20/30 years post non surgical rhinoplasty that their results have held up well? Thank you so much
I had corrective rhinoplasty when I was 10 after getting hit by a car. Now as an adult I have this large bump on the bridge of my nose off center. It makes one side profile look jagged but the other is fine. I think if you get this type of stuff done at 10 you should be allowed to come back as an adult and get it corrected for free because of course it is going to grow wrong if you had it done at 10... Right?
I had rhinoplasty done with hyaluronic acid, I have a small asymmetry in the nasal bone and even when is still obvious with the fillers the asymetry in the bone, I am very happy with the result and they lifted the tip of my nose, although the symmetrical side of my profile looks a little better than the asymmetrical side and I am thinking about something permanent and I have heard about "methacrylate" that they also use it for many years, but at the same time I have heard on internet very negative things about it and people with bad experiences of complications and the shape changes over time and they end up having surgery and that scares me a lot, because i know the current result is only temporary and surgery is very expensive and complicated but I would like to know how to have a permanent result and keep my nose beautiful without doing every 5 months the same procedure with hyaluronic acid, WHAT CAN I DO???? Why does methacrylate have such a bad reputation and scary testimonies?
Hi sir, I had rhinoplasty two years ago my nose tip will be very swollen after sexual activity and remain for 3,4 days like that. Is this normal? Sometime i have a redness in tip after that
What did he do? I thought she hadn’t had her rhinoplasty yet! This is why I’m going to Turkey. They do better more attractive noses. Could the thumbnail picture of her have been any more unattractive?
Doc Is there a higher risk of having a rhinoplasty done when I have septoplasty & turbinate reduction for sleep apnea, (from a united states ENT / Plastic Doctor) ? I have severe sleep apnea, tonsils & uvala removed, now my airway dentist says if your having septo done you might as well have the rhino, does this increase the risk of a failed septo / turbinate reduction or for that matter increase the chances of success because the ent plastic surgion can shape my nose favorable to function better?
@@DjaneGirl It's been 5 months now, and sadly my nose barely changed.. I discussed this with my surgeon and there's a high chance I'll get a minor revision at the 6th month mark, however my surgeon recommends waiting for at least a year, since the nose swelling gradually subsides, and he thinks the appearance of the nose may improve. So I'll wait and see.. it's such an exhausting and tedious process ugh
Had surgery on my nose and throat for sleep apnea as an adult. While under full anesthesia the surgeon learned that my airway nearly completely closed while so relaxed. So he took out my tonsils as well. This procedure of the tubes and packing was left for longer than ther next day. Don't remember how long. But my mother died unexpectedly right before my surgery and in passing the surgeon said to me: "oh, don't cry while these are in. It makes the area swell". Yeah, that was rough.
I have thick skin, when I smile after rhinoplasty, my nose looks wider than before, I am in the 6th month after rhinoplasty, is this temporary or is it due to the swelling in my nose?
I dont know if you gonna reply to this but i had i rhinoplasty and a alarplasty for about 1 Month and 20 days ago then now i started to lifting weight in the gym when i realised that some Swelling Come from the sides of the nose bones my question is if it dangerous or is it going to go away?
This is strange. And exactly the same happened to me thanks to God Jesus. I have been postponing those nasal surgeries for years and then God directed my steps to get it at a good, comfortable hospital abroad. Birrzarely enough, all symptoms including allergies have disappeared thankfully. And I praise God all the time.
