Atlantic Salmon are my favorite fish to chase by a long shot. Grew up on the Miramichi River, caught my first Atlantic on fly at 9 or 10, and haven’t stopped for over 30 years I reeled in a 32” spring kelt four days ago. Probably one of the biggest spring salmon Ive ever caught. It was also on a Loop ZX 9’ 8wt.
That`s some nice pike action. I have some Partridge Ad Swier Hooks ( CS43BN ). Do you have any experience with those ones. My favorite hook for pike flies turned out to be the Gamakatsu worm 34 tied Hook Point Up and dumbells as a keel just behind the second 90 degree corner on it`s lowest point....works great. Just wondering about the Ad Swier hooks because they have the looks.......
the little you think you know is all wrong so delete the Goran Anderson stuff you don't have that right either, you're not even close, left hand placement swing, hip movement is all wrong, speed is wrong, please you're messing new casters up. D.M.D.
