What a patient and darling pup he is. I have a 9 yr old bishon and my daughter and her fiancé run a dog boarding and grooming facility but I would not put my puppers thru all that. She just gets a basic mini poodle cut. 😄😉

Hello! Yes, I used purple comb for body and green comb for legs for the length control. Hand scissoring is for tidying up lines. For the round head and face, hand scissoring is the key! I have groomed dog for 3 years and still feel like bichon head is difficult. Practice and watch more pro groomer’s online seminar and youtube channels!
Nice video!! I want to ask, how do you get your bichon to be so calm for grooming? My bichon literally hates every part of the grooming process (shower, drying, cutting) and I cannot get her to stay still.

It's so rare to find someone that can give an actual perfect Bichon fluffy cute!! I cannot believe I'm finding this?! Where did you learn to create the rounded perfect circular face? Or learn any off the clipping details? You are so good at the soft round edges.
Thank u very much for the compliment. It means a lot to us. 🙂❤️ It’s wasn’t an easy process and we got better at it over the years of practice. First we learned the basic clipping techniques at the nearby grooming school in Seattle but later went to Korea to learn the scissor technique for the circular face. We will try to share more grooming video to share what we learned and help our home groomers. After all, dogs are most comfortable when it’s groomed by the owner❤️
My 6 month old bichon would never let me groom her. She struggles when I try to bathe your feet and face after her 3 walks per day and I don’t think I’d physically be able to cope. So off she goes to the professional groomers twice a month. 😁😁😅😅
