The Global South Network (GSN) is the first ever interdisciplinary forum for research students, scholars, judges, practitioners, and civil society organisations that is led by an early career academic (Dr Nauman Reayat) and has organised 60 knowledge exchange activities (including 9 guest lectures of the Supreme Court judges from across the world and four international conferences), introduced five successful initiatives (GSN PhD in Progress Seminar Series, GSN Judges Guest Lecture Series, GSN Scholars Guest Lecture Series, GSN Mentoring/Coaching, GSN Blogs), and submitted two edited collections, one on judicial independence in Africa (Springer), and the other on judicial independence in transitional democracies (Routledge) over one year of its establishment (17 March 2023). The network aims to empower people from, or focusing on, the Global South through knowledge exchange and sharing good practices on the issues of the Global South.
