At Super Retriever Series our goal is to develop partnerships and together introduce the loyal Retriever and Sporting Dog owner along with outdoor enthusiasts alike, to a competitive game in the field and on the Dock. These folks love the outdoors, love sporting dogs and love the Super Retriever Series.

Apologies for the scoring error for the Open Division at the closing of the show. Cappy and Carter Turner's 5th Series score was 83 vs. the 129 that was posted on the scoreboard. The overall score was listed as 212, which is correct. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion. Thank you!
Legend (Abby’s Blaze of Glory) was started by Todd Christensen out of Northern Utah. Todd owned Legend’s Mom, Abby, and whelped Legend. With Todd, Legend made the NDL, was QA2, and had an Open JAM at 20 months old. He was a very nice young dog.

Blind retrieves(ones the dog does not see thrown) are put out where the handler knows it is. Marks thrown the dog sees thrown. Dogs are tested on their memory of where that is. It takes years of training your dog to get to this level of competition.
A no bird is when a mark is thrown by the bird tech or a winger and not in the the area the judges assigned do to error, therefore a No Bird. It’s the judges call and the handler can either go back and start again or want until a few dogs before they run again. Usually handler will wait a few dogs to run.
