I considered it but these go for $30-$50 in auction and I’m an auction seller so there was no profit in it for me. Facebook pages can often be misleading with shill biding by sellers friends/relatives.
naaaa bro can't do the woman's stuff .... for a start they are way more nasty than blokes if there's a small spot or something . and im scared of them . Stick to bloke stuff I recon
You really should wait till your done sorting through everything to take things to auction. All the things I was seeing you find for things already gone made me cringe. Things like chargers and the toy story hat add value to the things your selling for your buyers and instead they now will probably end up in the bin. As a reseller it's sort of your responsibility to provide items that are complete as possible to your buyers, expecially when the items are collectable. It's just so wasteful and unnecessary.
2 van loads went to charity.? Damn, that would make a good gig just selling it at the markets for 5 bucks a bag. You moved mate from Queensland.? Good choice Danny there are to many nuts up here lol. Loving the house boats matey.
Hi been watching your videos awhile now I understand you not wanting to sell the woman or baby clothes especially individually but just a suggestion there may be people like your self who are after bulk lots of clothes perhaps try selling them as bulk lots or see if there is any independent second hand clothing shops as they may be interested in them. I believe it may be worth a go minimal work for you and benefits all even if you just make $20 better then nothing. Otherwise does oz have a womans refuge they may be interested in clothing or some toys. Would be awesome to keep some toys that you would otherwise donate and use to hand out at a Christmas function or toy drive for less fortunate kids at Christmas, just a few ideas, I know your always keen to get back to treasure hunting. I recently found a necklace $2.00 and new priced $650 yah 😊winning.
Nice 😊 I take loads to multiple charities as many of the ones local to me simply don’t have the ability to accept the amount I drop off. It’s a real problem that there are too many donations so charities are actually binning a lot that they receive.
Hey mate your in Adelaide now correct there used to be a phone shop in China town right near the food court that unlocked phones not sure if it’s still there you can always try there
For the branded new and near new ladies clothes, you could sell them in lots of 15 or so online. Same as the baby and kids clothes. You’re going to get buyers who will want to on sell them and you should get a decent price for them. They will sell so make some money from them and it’s less fuss bundling them. Lay them out, together, on the ground and take a photo. Put a size range in the description.
I used to do that with my kids clothes as they grew out of them back in 2005. Now days I just sell what’s good in a box lot via auction. I prefer the ease of auction houses.
I’ve just started buying from auction houses but online. Just bought an item on HiBid for $700 that sells for $2400 from an auction house 2hrs from me. Some auction houses do live audio auctions and ship to you but you can also pick up if they’re close enough.
Cost of living in Australia is up the $hit atm , I would have given the owners the benefit of the doubt and given there stuff back . Who knows there story , who knows the struggles ect . Just for the sake of a score to resell there whole life …. I’m off it for sure Danny ….. each there own though I guess mate
I usually go the day prior, or as soon as the sale is advertised. I’ve cancelled dozens of garage sales by buying them out prior to the advertised date. Even this week.. Early bird gets the worm 🏅
@@DannyFlippingDeals oh 100% ive message people and asked if I can buy stuff out, but i mean getting there at ridiculous early times, especially if they have it starting at 9am
There are hundreds of abandoned storage units going up for auction in Australia weekly. Generally the same scenario.. in jail, out of country, or can’t afford the repayments.
@@DannyFlippingDeals yeah but did they kick off any more than what you have shown in the video? Did you end up calling them? Or giving personal paperwork (un-sellables) back. How did it end?
I’m a book seller on eBay and definitely not boring. Learned selling on eBay from a definitely not boring and extremely lovely Mel from Back from Burnout. She’s done so well with eBay and you tube. Book sellers are awesome. ❤
I’ve visited an auction site in Melbourne was great to buy but a very long line and wait to list items, you are lucky to have found an auction place that you can regularly put items in.
When you showed the box of toys the editor put a shot of what sold so couldn’t see the toys. Be great if you go slower over the items. Someone will pick up something and have a different reason for picking up something that’s why I love this. The auction room looks like a fun place to visit.
Vintage toys, cameras, stereos, trading cards, glassware - so many bargains. Your advice was spot on, you need to research everything. This was a great video.
As you mention elsewhere, it's a lot of work. It's not just the cost of the unit that has to be factored in but your time and your son's. It's looking real good though.
@@RiverDanube took us 3 days to sort and the prior unit took us 4 days to sort. Then you have auction drop off day and whatever you decide to put on eBay. Time is 💰
