I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone's that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! HI PK and PM!! Wow, your answer was spot on. It was biblical and balanced. However, I felt that the final Pastor's take on it does not seem to address the question. I understand his thoughts around not compartmentalizing your relationship, but what I heard him say was that he and his wife are both busy and they've learned how to support each other in their busy-ness rather than be less busy and/or complain about the busyness by participating in it. That only works if the other person feels supported by having you cheer them on/join them in what they're doing aka their attention love language. To me, if you continue that way, all you are doing is continuing your busy lifestyle and having your spouse nearby. If he and his wife feel that is what intimacy is in their relationship and it works for them - good for them. The question was about one person feeling neglected because of the other's "over-dedication" to church and serving and their relationship not being balanced. PK and PM you hit the bullseye, thank you! PS - I am a newlywed and we both serve in ministry together. I've learned so far that there is no "one size fits all" and married folks have to do what works best for THEM!
