After traveling around North American in our van and capturing its natural beauty on film, we decided it was time to settle down and tackle the next dream on our list: building a tiny off-grid log cabin!
Thanks for the great video. Im 64 years old from New Zealand and I like the previous commenteer, I could not stop watching once I started. Keep up the good work and everything of the best for you guys future.

Nick and Maëla are Québécois. Their propriety is situated in the region of Lanaudière, in Québec, approximately between 100 to 200 kilometers (I think), after the city of Joliette, in north part of the great St-Laurent river.
Que buena construcción una disposición de ambos para crear algo hermoso con un esfuerzo maratónico, herramientas manuales, nadie lo hace en estos tiempos.💯💯💪💪
Living in a country where it is almost always summer, I'm learning a lot seeing your seasons and all the work in the land in each season. The charm in your videos is that you just go on doing your tasks without minding that there is audience. For me, that makes you and your vids genuine. Plus, you show us that much of work can be done with hand tools. I also subscribe to a number of homesteading off grid cabins and farms but they mostly do their projects with power tools. You inspire.
Lovely garden footage. Who doesn't like the smell and feel of good black rich earth on their hands and under their nails? You had a better view actually full blackout of the eclipse than we did here in Arizona wonderful shots of that as well. Whenever I see that you have a new video I immediately click on it. That's how much I enjoy your videos. Until the next one....... Me southern AZ. (USA)
I owned and built a manufactured house in the wilderness of Arizona. Both the house and my introduction of plants fell victim to attack by rodents. I also lived in Canada Ontario where the log cabins walls became infested with mice. My poisoned baiting saved my house and my neighbor said cleared the rats from his wood pile. Have you encountered this problem?
Hello, it is so good to see you again. I have missed you guys. I trust all is going well for you. Could you tell us more about yourselves? Do you live in your cabin full-time or do you have jobs in the city? Don't be afraid to chat to us during your videos. We would love to hear more from you. No pressure. Hugs from, Gina Mac of Queensland, Australia. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching You 2 build that cabin. The only thing that I don't like is watching footage over and over again in different videos that I've already seen. I am learning so much and enjoying your videos so tremendously. I have watched for 2 days and I have been so in all of you two working together like you do. I am 71 years old. When I was 17 I married and my husband and I work together side by side until he died.😊 It was a nice reminder of seeing how 2 months could almost pick up where the other one left off❤.
Hi N & M. What a wonderful choice you have been able to make, and a great building job. I have been rewatching the evolution of things since the release of the newest video. Apologies if this has been asked and answered, but (out of curiosity) why did you not orient the cabin south-facing? Cheers!
