This is a travel Vlog by a couple who sold everything to explore the world on a budget. Why "Slow travel?" While we were working full time, vacation time always had to be fit into tight little windows making reduced travel time important. Now that those tight little windows don't exist (for the most part) we are embracing a new philosophy of the journey being more important than the destination. Yeah, that sounds cliche to us too, but don't worry, I'm sure you'll see us struggle plenty with the concept as we set out to see all we can of this amazing planet and its varied cultures.
Thanks so much! Great memories from that trip. Editing is slowwwwww 🤣🤣 Would be great to catch up on the trail sometime! Love SE Asia content!! All the best 🤙🤙
@@KattieMetChris Thanks, Chris & Katie :) Yeah you seem to be putting a lot of hours in to your videos. Quality of camera is also great. I plan to go to Indonesia soon I think, whats next for you guys.
@Gymson Always trying to balance small size vs quality for three cameras ...always a challenge for us 🤣 We're going to walk the Camino in Portugal next. Any special plans in Indonesia? Theres just so much there to explore! We've barely scratched the surface
It is a great experience for those who love nature and want to explore one of the most unique places in the world. If I have the chance, I also want to explore it.
It was such an amazing and epic experience. Don't really have the words to properly describe it. I would definitely go sooner rather than later so grateful we had the opportunity.
Katie, I’ll definitely be emailing you about more information on how you did your trip. I’m a huge American fan of @ McLeod’s Daughters “ I live in northeast Pennsylvania area in the states
Nice sound. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Guys I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak. Add this sound in your bucket list.
Hi Kattie and Chris. Lovely to see you again in this beautiful video. And thank you so much for visiting us! It was really nice to guide you through Pompeii and Herculaneum. You were very very special guests! Your guide Maria

I would suggest the Ian Potter Gallery, next to ACMI, to view their collection of Australian art.The free tram service which operates in the CBD.Or a seat anywhere in the city to do some people watching.
Great video and thankyou for doing it,as someone from the UK can you tell me how expensive Manly is for food, drinks and hotels please.Have you been to Bondi?Which would you say is the best Manly or Bondi?
Thank you! Very happy you enjoyed the video 🙏 First off in the Manly versus Bondi discussion, we have to say Manly since Jae and Jon will likely read this comment 🤣🤣 though, even if they weren’t, we would still give the slight edge to Manly overall. Bondi is really cool too though. Lodging is expensive but you can get away with some cheaper options for food unless you want to eat exclusively at restaurants (great affordable options from sushi stands and deals at grocery stores like Coles and Woolworths) then it’s probably pretty similar to what you experience in the UK maybe a little less expensive on the food. Overall, we’ve found it a little less expensive to visit Sydney than London and London doesn’t have a beach 🤣 all the best!
Kuala Lumpur is the organized and modern version on New York. The US city has smelly subways and rat infested street corners with homeless everywhere. Kuala Lumpur has ultra modern subways, beautiful streets and luxury and sporty cars everywhere.
I cannot stop smiling while watching this video. It seemed that you had made your homework perfect. Where to go, when to go, how to go. That's just brilliant. Come again and visit the islands and beautiful nature of tropical jungle. We also have elephants and orang utan conservation centres to visit. Several highlands which you could walk through and touch the clouds. Stay a bit longer and I promise you will hit 10k subscribers in no time. Take care and stay safe.
Wow! It’s so wonderful to hear you enjoyed our video. We have definitely fallen in love with Malaysia and look forward to exploring much more of this amazing country!
